  GB Samuel Herd on "Angels and Women"

  i find it interesting that samuel herd (as co) promoted the book angels and women in his talk "fear of giants".

  he called it a fascinating book, once you pick it up you cant put it down without reading it from cover to cover!

  he also mentions that russell wrote the foreword of the book and that it can be found in the gilead library.. .

  i couldn't stand it.

  never heard any of it played live, which i imagine would be much better, but still... i find it annoying.

  for people who like that type of music, i guess it was good.

  I cant get enough...Can YOU SEEEEE in your minds eye.....people liiiiiiving forever.....sorrowww has past peace at last life withhhh out end at last. Even though I dont believe the thought of not having to face nothingness was the one that kept me in so long.....Back to the main point....the music sucks but so does christian rap and christian rock.

  Avoid Watchtower 'False Stories' !

  the july 15 watchtower (pg 17) asserts that the world is filled with an attitude of 'anything goes' - right or wrong - it depends on your feelings.. this is, ironically, (and hypocritically) a 'false story' created by the watchtower.

  once again, they are lying to support their own greediness to maintain control over naive witnesses who believe this nonsense.. we have a name for people who truly believe that 'anything goes - right or wrong' - they are called sociopaths or psychopaths.

  it is entirely fair to say that the us public doesn't like them or think well of them.

  George the average ethiopian makes 700 euros a YEAR.....Why not fund a house filled with 51 brothers who go out preaching?(36k E /700). Wouldnt that truly be a blessing brothers? LOL Just think how rich the watchtower would be if everyone made 10$ an hour for the preaching work lol.

  my hdtv sits just feet behind the wall that houses my computer.

  i have a g-router for my laptops in the house.. i thought of running hdmi interface to my tv, but alas no hdmi outport on my computer.

  i used to use a laptop with vga, so considered doing the same with my desktop, but alas no vga port on my desktop computer.

  I vote PSII, you get a high quality blue ray player mixed with streaming. Even if you never play a game it is a good choice.

  Just remember you can have more than one wife if you dont want to be an elder.....1 Timothy 3:1,2 1 That statement is faithful. If any man is reaching out for an office of overseer, he is desirous of a fine work. 2 The overseer should therefore be irreprehensible, a husband of one wife, moderate in habits, sound in mind, orderly, hospitable, qualified to teach........so if yo are a husband of 2 wives you cant be an elder but you can have a legal 3 some lol

  Becoming of the anointed & seeing the light

  i was recently born again and thus am anointed because of this i have come to realize that though there are sincere people who are jw, some teachings are fine but the wt organization is a fraud.

  here is my story sorry if it's a bit long but i need to tell it.. 16 years ago today i was baptized as one of jw's.

  i was 17 years old the only one in my family.

  adgrpid:|servtype: google_ad_section_start to the making of many books is worrisome as the bible says yet the last time we received a ypa book it was 2008 volume 1, 2 now this weekend we received volume 1 revised.

  wow and so many are excited about us killing so many trees to repeat the same thing over and over again.

  i need to vent a bit and could easily get on to many issues of wtbts and its goober body.

  The effect we are having on the Watchtower is HUGE

  i was inspired by a recent thread i know i aint gunna crumble the wt, but a girl can dream to look at the effect we as individuals are having on the watchtower society.. 3dogs1husband quoted a story to show that even helping only one person is worth it.. it is encouraging to note that the one person you may have helped has lead to millions being helped, due to the power of compounding growth.. compounding growth is well illustrated by the rice on a chessboard problem.

  if you start with 1 grain of rice on square one, and double it to 2 on the second, 4 on the third, 8 on the fourth, by the last (64th) square there would be 18,446,744,073,709,551,615 grains of rice.. likewise, if you help one person out of the grip of the watchtower this year, then next year you help one more and they help one, in a few years that is going to have a formidable result on the number of jehovahs witnesses.

  Guilt is not decided by poor reaction after your children die, it is decided by the evidence....I don’t know if she was guilty or not but I remember many a tearful plea by Susan Smith to help find the killer of the children she had driven into the river with her 2 sons. Her normal reaction to the loss of her kids did not make her innocent.

  Just because Anthony seems to be a drunk and a loose woman does not make her a killer. I feel bad for the child, but 12 people took only 10 hours to find her not guilty....sounds like bad evidence to me at the very least, or possible innocence. Much of the evidence presented by Nancy Grace and the like is designed to agitate and not educate on the merits of the case.

  If you like Nancy Grace then you will love judicial committees.

  i found this video on youtube, which put the first nail in the coffin for the wt.

  the posters on this site put in the final 32 nails and put the wt in hades for me.
