by Frazzled UBM ini have been reverse witnessing to a witness at work who i told about my witness wife.
i think he thinks he is well on his way to make me a study but i have asked him to provide evidence that the wbrts is what it claims to be by reference to how it was appointed and how the current gb came to inherit that authority.
but one issue we ahd was the position of jesus accordign to the wbts and he said that he sits in heaven at the right hand of jehovah planning the future.

I was a window washet...
by new hope and happiness inthete are a lot of derocatory comments sbout witnesses and cleaning windows.
as a former window cleaner i can say:-.
a. i started my self employment at 17.. b. i built the round with my own initiative.. c. i was soon making 4 times the average hourly wage.. d. i was afraid of heights, but as the round grew i employed 2 people.. e. it exspanded to gardening painting and decorating ect, ect,.

Do you pray over your meals? If so why? If not, when did you stop and why?
by BU2B into answer my question, no i do not pray over meals anymore exept for when i am with other jws i do a 15 second head bow for appearances sake.
i just came to the realization god had nothing to do with whether i ate or not.
many believers are starving right now whilst many non-believers are eating like kings.. also why should god give me food while he lets little children in dprk concentration camps starve to death.

There was a person in the bible who offered the first person to come out of his house as a burnt offering to God, I don't know if it was to YAWEH... well, he did fulfilled his promised. I don't konw if burnt meant sacrifice by fire ... the gril was a virgin. I need to research that, also God did not ask for it, it was the person who offered it and back hten you needed to fulfill your vows to YHWH.
But you know thats one aspect I like about the bible, tell you the good, the bad and the ugly ... it does not try to hide it, it is transparent! A lot of people would have fight to make God appear all loving in the bible I think, but NOPE, the good, the bad, and the ugly is all out there for our reading ... LOL ... The question is WHY?
