NOTE: [For additional information on superlatives to use in reference to the Elders; please read the clique's favorite Cult of The Elder's Red Book, AKA: "Climax". Here you will be directed in our first reading through it; with the view that the stars in Jesus' right hand, are angels assigned to each congregation. Studied the second time around; the understanding of the stars will be constituted as, being of the anointed ones that are in our midsts. Then on a third study at all halls globally; which will be full of revisions for individuals to make by use of real glue and "cut & paste", the Red Book is refashioned. We are now told in the studies at the halls; that the elders alone are stars, and that we best be obeying them in oder to receive life!]

Now we can print our own Watchtowers, yea!
But, what if we don't the money for a 3D or 4D printer?
Use the standard printer, and load up car board stock!
Yeah; now that they're rice paper thin, 16 pagers.
It will work great, just copy the front and back covers.
Sorry about the inside content, not much there any way.
It's only allot of blank space for notes, and lots of photos!
We can print tons of them and wing um' into lawns of KHs.
JW's have "drive-bys" for checking up on us Ex-JW's;
well, here's a way for us to do "drive-bys" at least we're not
spying on them at their homes. Or are we? Well at least
we're not winging frisbee-towers onto their personal properties!
There! I underlined this copy for you, now you have all the answers
before the meeting, be sure to raise your hand three times;
and release 3D frisbee-tower on each swing! With no more pages
to flutter and stall these mags, your toss is a sure distant hit!

Now, how cool is that?
Mrs. Being is jumping up and down!
By the way, she's not a cheer leader, she's aware too.
As for me; I dream of staging flash dances in KH parking lots!
Dressed as sheep, leaving leaflets on cars.
Hilarious! What a video that would be.

Has Your Personality Changed Since Leaving The Witnesses?
by minimus ini have an aquaintance that likes to say, "once an a hole always an a hole".
i guess you could reason that whatever your religious views were, your core is you are who you are.. did your personality change for better or worse when you left the organization?.

The core personalities of Mrs. Being and I stayed the same.
However; the last years of our being in the congregations
brought on the psychological condition know as, projection.
This happens when a person near you has an all encompassing
desire, so much so, that his/her emotions are transmitted to another.
Since we've cut off association with psychopaths, megalomaniacs
and nihilistic people; God's spirit envelopes us more fully!
(Not that all there were; just loopy, snotty and "know-it-all" types!)
Our study and research has brought satisfaction, endowment
and calm into our lives and benefited our personalities as well.

If the guy selling this idea is doing what I think your describing,
then if he were an insurance agent he could looking at...
his license being revoked, ordered to a hearing, fined up to $500,
make restitution of fees and reimbursements and or spend up to 5 years in prison!
This would be considered: "misrepresentation", "false advertising" and
possible "rebating" for said favors from God and or "inducements" for privileges.
It smells of deception and classic W.T. 'mind over money trickery'. - AwareBeing

Bart Ehrman on the Trinity
by slimboyfat intalking of watchtower quote mining, i wonder if they'll ever quote these comments, considering the source is bible sceptic:.
and i began to see that many of the traditional christian doctrines that i had long held to be beyond question, such as the doctrine of the divinity of christ and of the trinity, were not present in the earliest traditions of the new testament but had developed over time and had moved away from the original teachings of jesus and his apostles.
jesus, interrupted (2010), page 16..

In his book "Lost Christianities: The Battles for Scripture and the Faiths We Never Knew" he details how Orthodoxy was dictated by aggressive members. That over time, these formed a consensus to brand all other "Christianities" as heretics. Does that sound like any cults we know in America?
Further; Ehrman's lecture "After the New Testament: The Writings of the Apostolic Fathers" mention is made of power plays. The professor explains how the Roman Church sent money to the other congregations in order to set free their Christian slaves. In this he states, you can imagine that these would then become loyal to the Church of Rome, and be supportive of it's teachings. Thus the imposition of the Romana mindset into the smaller ecclesias!
Not all scholars aggree with Bart, it's mostly due to a few of his conclusions. As for me, I can only fault him for a hint of Zionism while Barabbas bashing and the occasional hot air in normal conversations. All in all he's around 80% to 95% on spot, very informative and a good read for subjects that many of today's Orthodox experts won't cover.

For those still attending meetings: Here's a comment you can make on this week's "Bible Highlights"
by sir82 inthis week the assigned reading is lamentation chapters 3-5.. here's what the nwt says at lam.
13because of the sins of her prophets, the errors of her priests,.
there were in the midst of her those pouring out the blood of righteous ones.. 14they have wandered about as blind in the streets.

That little word change makes the statement sound like something a CO might say
in a congo. that has a recently deleted elder or two and the R&F are not okay with it!

Once my wife and I started reading the Bible in this way, there was no way of closing our eyes!
We cycled through the Theocratic Ministry School's weekly Bible assignment,
and in all the congregations that we were part of; commenting was hand picked.
The perspective of these comments are warped towards an elder's cult following,
a pioneer goddess status and the standard GB worship. It was all too gross to bear!
By the time we got through the whole Bible, we were totally convinced that
the GB, local elders and congregations were not "speaking truth to one another."
We want "the truth!"... not the false worship of men. So we faded from their sight.
Now we're happy and undisturbed by these manipulative, abusive and hypocritical leaders.

Just how do JW's explain who is a "false prophet"?
by booker-t ini seem to have trouble understanding how jw's think in regards to "false prophets" or "false prophecies".
i went toe to toe with my jw's brother who is a ministerial servant on the topic of false prophecies.
he just won't leave me alone.

False prophets and apostates...
'They're malicious (in teachings).'
In the Candice Conti trial, WT was
charged as being "malicious!"
WT teaches elders to slow down and/or block
proceedings that help and protect victims.

Do you really thing the GB has a clue of the affect they have on the R&F?
by mynameislame ini work at a very recognizable company (hint they are the father (mother?
) of the tla).
as one of the rank and file at that company i can say even my direct manager has no clue what my job is like on a day to day basis.

It may take a collaborative of us conscience independents,
and definitely GOD's doing to reach the R&F still trapped in.
A few core beliefs, small goals, and briefly stated facts about WT's "GB";
could go a long way in drawing us together in the Christ without the WT's lies.
Such a collaborative would have to be with out negativity, dogma, and cliques!
That's what drew most into the WT;
and that technique in reverse, can help in their exit.
We'd need to keep it concise, simple and appealing.
