for close to eighty-five years now the core believe of jehovahs witnesses has been the last days teaching that earthquakes have increased in intensity and frequency since 1914. no longer, now it seems it has gone the way of the generation that would not die who were alive in 1914. now we have the great new discovery that there were not more or stronger earthquakes since 1914, almost 40 years after experts and many good men were disfellowshipped for saying otherwise.

Was Rutherford drunk when.....?

it was started by russell and completed by rutherford who published it.
i am half way through the book and have skimmed through the majority of it.. rutherford either had to be drunk or crazy when he wrote that pitiful interpretation of revelations.

Why is the WTBTS incorporated?

she was pretty disgusted by the blatant commercialism and wanted to know who owns the company?
she also mentioned the fact that the wtbts is incorporated and since neither of us is very business savvy i was wondering if any of you knows what that means.

Incorporation facilitates business transactions & helps insulates the board members from being held libel from lawsuits. The tax implications are mute, because the WT is a religious organization.

Can aging be slowed down?
by master chief inrecently i have been doing some research into the aging process and how to slow it down?i just want to leave you with some questions!!
1.going on a low calorie diet seems to help between 950 and 1500 calories per day.
q2.not doing to much work due to higher use of oxygen intake which seems to corrode our internals i think it said something about free radiacals and mitachondrae.

I'm angry and scared
by MoodyBlue ini've been out of the witnesses for a year...and in that span i've become more of a skeptic towards any sort of religion or god.
i don't know if i will ever again have faith in a supernatural, all loving and powerful being.
i suppose this is because the only god i really know anymore is jehovah of the watchtower- who to me is nothing more than a jealous, angry and vindictive creature.

Got an earring......
by moman ini first wanted an earring at about age 8, when i saw a movie with pirates.
a gold hoop in one ear & an eye-patch, man that was way cool!.
by the time i was old enough to get one, the gay(coming-out) thing was in full bloom & anyone with an earring was considered gay.. next, i get into the borg & you know what thats about.. finally, after all these years, i am wearing my earring, a gold hoop(no pirate eye-patch though), woopie!.
