Ever lie on your service reports?
by The_Bad_Seed in*laughing just thinking about it*.
did anybody out there lie on their service reports that they maintained the 'national average' when in reality you got .005 hours of service in any given month?
i magically always used to always get "10" hours out in service, while nobody ever saw me at the groups, no one ever caught on, or seemed not to -- maybe they just didn't give a shit.. i always lied so i could keep my microphone 'privelidges' -- that being, the privelidge to walk around at the back of the hall giving my deflated ass a break from those awful chairs they had.

Has this place changed you?
by OUTLAW inwhen i first came here i was happy to find a place where i could laugh, get pissed off or just speak my mind on a subject.the people i have met here are some of the most, kind, careing, informative, helpfull souls.
i couldn`t have asked for a better group to be involved with.i do not always agree with my board mates.even with the ones who piss me off, there is still a comradeship(yk comes to mind, lol).finding this board has taught me one important thing.we are not alone,we have each other...outlaw

Yet another JW contradiction
by Jesus Christ inok, as if you all need another thing that that doesn't make sense but is typical jw thinking here goes.. they think dad only hears the prayers of the rightous and not the "bad" people.
if you've done evil things dad won't listen to you.
they also think that to be good with dad and me you have to confess your sins.

DID YOU EVER RAT ON SOMEBODY???
by minimus inthe congregation was always being told to root out any person who was engaged in wrongdoing.
if it was a best friend or even a family member, you were to inform the elders so that they could look into the matter and investigate any possible sin.
the elders pretty much told the brothers that those knowing of a sin and not reporting it were as guilty as the person that actually sinned!

Too wierd to be true... but it is... Elders???
by Lapuce inwell yesterday i go the visit of two elders of my congregation, my wife told them that i was acting like an apostat as i talked two days before to two mormons, yes i told them that that they were in a cult like the jw's and they couldn't think for themselves like us, boy i got a real sermon from them, my wife told them that i was on anti-depresants and that they made me ack a bit crazy sometimes, well i know one thing, it wont be the last time i will here from them.
i know 3 years ago i got a talk by the elders but that time it was for buying lotto tickets, again my wife found a ticket in my pocket that i forgot when i put my cholths for washing.
i got the talk, but no sanctions again.

Writing Better Letters
by metatron inno doubt you may be sickened by fawning, prepackaged press releases.
about jw's at conventions, that carefully sidestep the reality of.
being a witness.. maybe you would like to write a letter to the editor?

Men only.
by TruckerGB indrug warning.. police warn all clubbers, partygoers and unsuspecting pub regulars to be alert and stay cautious when offered a drink from any woman.a new date rape drug on the market called beer is used by many females to target unsuspecting men.
the drug is generally found in liquid form and is now available almost anywhere.. it comes in bottles, cans, from taps and in large kegs.. beer is used by female sexual predators at parties and bars to persuade their male victims to go home and have sex with them.typically,a woman needs only to persuade a guy to consume a few units of beer and then simply ask him home for no strings attached sex.men are rendered helpless against this approach.. after several beers men will often succumb to desires to perform sexual acts on women to whom they would never be normally attracted.after drinking beer men often awaken with only hazy memories of exactly what happened to them the night before, often with just a vague feeling that something occurred.. at other times these unfortunate men are swindled out of their life savings in a familiar scam known as a relationship.
it has been reported that in extreme cases, the female may even be shrewd enough to entrap the unsuspecting male into a longer term form of servitude and punishment referred to as marriage.. apperently, men are much more susceptible to this scam after beer is administered and sex offered by the predatory female.. please!

Hello I'm new here...
by Lapuce ini really love this web site and yes i'm a jw still, have been for 8 years now, i'm 35 and am married to a jw and have two boys one is 1-1/2 and the other 5. for about 2 to 3 years now i'm starting to see that its not really the truth.
the brothers, sisters and elders dont really care about anyone, the watchtower is ruining my life, i have been depressed for awhile now and i'm on anti depressants as i started feeling suicidal as i'll never be good enough as i hate meetings, i hate going door to door, and it doesn't make any sense that jehovah will destroy good people just because they don't follow its doctrins.
its like saving to your son if you don't do what i tell you i will kill you.
