Matt 22:23-30--no sex for resurrected ones?

the wts promotes the idea that in the "new system" members of the great crowd, who are not resurrected, will be able to marry and have children.. but what about those that are resurrected?.

does the wts apply matt 22:23-30 to people resurrected on earth?

(the passage is obviously applied to people who were pre-new covenant).

how did you feel when you read the wts when you were still in the org.

after the fist couple of years of being in, i avoided it as much as i could.

it was like reading a day old newspaper over and over again.

I hated it, only read it for the study, I did enjoy awake though, but the Watchtower, its good to light the fireplace...

well, in nearly forty years of being a dub, i've read some bs but some of it really takes the biscuit.. take for example the watchtower of november 15th 2006!.

hey all,.

i'm practically brain-dead this afternoon, unable to handle anything of any intellectual level to speak of.

so i thought i'd drop by watchtower.org and see what drivel they were passing off these days.. one of the lead articles is "should i get a tattoo?".

Yes those dorks are at it again... I have two personally and my still dub wife wants to get one too now. I hate it when they stereotype people that have tattoos, beards, shaved heads, you name it...

I have an Angel chained to a stone that says YHWH in Hebrew (On my left leg) and on my right arm a mermaid (amine Type) withn a breast sticking out of her hair, you should have seen the dubs that I knew freek out when they saw it...

Pay attention manual ?

i had two copies of the pay attention to the flock manual on my computer, microsoft word and word pad and both are gone.

i wonder if anyone might know where i can download them.

Well I do have it on PDF file if you wish, its just that I'm at work and my home PC is in for repairs, I will only have it thursday. I will have to check if I have a copy at work... Which is quite possible as I have a few CDs with research material on.

as an elder, i always seemed to be at a meeting.

Often illness, as I had many leg operations I could easily miss alot on winters and on damp days... Using arthritis saying the painkillers caused me to fall asleep, (I often did not take any, it was an excuse!!!)

Have any of you seen the movie "The Village"?

about a month ago a movie was on cable called "the village".

it was a freaky movie, and i was a little uncomfortable watching it, but nothing ever happened that made me turn the channel.

turns out there is quite a twist in the end which explained the freakyness.

I saw it too and agree, my dub wife saw it and of course she didn't see that it was like the WT...I think she was just trying not to convince herself. Anyways I bought also the movie...

ok - this thread about wt and their money got me thinking.... http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/116971/1.ashx ...for all those here that still attend meetings.. go to your "literature servant" at the next meeting and request a couple new bibles, wt cd's, songbooks, or double your magazine order, etc.

just make sure you forget to donate.. lets keep those wt printers busy!!!
