Wow, two different reports on the same event. Ever heard of the problem with eye-witness testimony, well...two people who see the same thing usually have differences in their story. Two men see a purse get stolen, man #1 sees white guy w/ red hat steal it, man #2 sees Hispanic guy w/ blue hat steal it. Different stories, but it changes nothing to the fact that the purse was stolen, or that the rock was moved. Good catch though.

Bible Error: The Visit to the Tomb

according to mark, the women wondered how they would remove the stone covering the tomb, but they found that it had already been rolled away.
matthew, however, says that when the women went to the tomb, there was an earthquake, and an angel came down from heaven, went to the tomb, and rolled the stone back.

Amazing, couldn't agree with you more.
As for feeling a sense of pride for something we have no control over, well, I see nothing wrong with that. Take two guys who just bought a Porsche...one who bought it 'cause it looks cool and is fast, and the other bought one because he has always been an avid enthusiast and loves Porsche's long and illustrious heritage. Which one would be the better owner...I believe the later of the two. Both had nothing to do with designing, testing, or manufacturing of, they just made money like the rest of us and bought one.Yea, America isn't perfect, but for a relatively young country, we're doing pretty damn good. We've got some serious marks against us, slavery and Native Americans, but we can't change the past...we have to look at what we are doing now, and for the most part, I feel it is something to be...proud of.

In my defense, I didn't totally miss your point, I just don't see your point. Yes, the examples I gave do have benefits, unlike the ones given by Janh. However, is there a benefit to the placement of our larynx? Would there be enough sound resonance if it were placed somewhere else? I don't know. So I believe your question is.."Why did God create imperfect humans and animals"...well, in short..I believe sin permanatly altered not only man, but natural law as well. So, you must believe in sin to understand where I am coming from, if you don't, then no arguement, uneven ground. Don't get me wrong, I believe in questioning EVERYTHING, from why humans have a tail bone to why only men have hairy asses. But personally, I don't question God's existence because I am not sure about certain parts of the human structure. Just food for thought, but watch out..don't choke.

...and we only have two legs, which, compared to 4-legged creatures, makes us more prone to falling down and hurting ourselves. Ohhh the humanity! Also, our eyes are placed in a frontward facing position, unlike fish and other animals, which makes us more prone to being killed by people who run red lights, does this make me question whether God made us, no.
