Where did you hear that?
certainly NOT from JW's
(at least i heard that from a lot when i came in, though only in jest).
i think it's true for those who leave.. you need time to be with your own thoughts, time to heal before you try to talk to anyone.. .
if you don't, you'll just confirm what's on the minds of those who fear where you've gone.. .
Where did you hear that?
certainly NOT from JW's
what is in the background?????.
now read what was released and given to all convention attenders about the building of his gravesite, about what's inside it, and about who owns all the land.
from the book called souvenir report of the bible student's convention jan. 2-5, 1919 link:.
“Elsewhere in this book will be found some reproductions of beautiful photos taken of the surface, showing the "Pyramid" and Head Stone with inscription, likewise the plat beneath which is hidden the ashes of one who we believe is now crowned both King and Priest.
there was no doubt he was part of the anointed,,, back then,,, imagine if he were here now what he would say to this current GB.. probably throw them out like th emoney changers in the temple!...
LOL
some questions arise with the new understanding:.
was there a slave class between the 1st century and the 20th century?.
in w march 1, 2004, it was stated, that the slave could not be a single man, because "acording to jesus words" the slave had started his work in 1st century and would still be in action in 20th century.. was the slave in action in 1914?
and the actual annointed have no say at all, I wonder how they wil judge this GB. I wonder how they feel,
I would like to see cedars site give opportunity for annointed ones to express their thoughts about the current GB and the events taking place.
part 3 (which is where the actual meeting begins) is finished.
it took my computer hours and hours to render and upload it!!
anyway, this is what i just posted on my youtube channel:.
Congrats Ray, been there done that, it is NEVER easy,
Welcome to the club!
just wondering?
?.
The concept is to complete the Df as fast as possible so that they remain blamless.
sign , date put it in the file and then the sinner gets what comes to them.
that is the end of the matter.
Threatening to kil yourself dosent stop you getting Df,, it only hastens the end result.
Many wil comment how you have a complete lack of respect for the gift of life.
thus you deserve to die..
Those that do kill themsleves are thought to be getting their just rewards for sinning...
Crazy,,,
in my last meeting to be re-instated they said for next time figure out which person from the bible i'm most like.
and be ready to tell them what i pray about and how i feel about what i did to jehovah.
being honest , speaking from the heart about jesus forgiving peter and having a hard time answering the prayer question didn't work getting hysterical and nervous-breakdownish at the end didn't help, nor did running out of the hall after saying i could never do any better.
jookbeard - yes correct, i wasnt sure if she was DF or Reproved,
If she is DF then she should say how much she would like to comment again and become a part of jehovahs family.
third time to get reinstated is tough, they make you suffer to see your resolve...
cheers

Just addition sorry,
Peter and david are the examples you should use,
DOnt seek time witnessing with your family, seek out the elders wife. always act meek with her accepting HER lead...
Dont talk about your personal issues at all with her, keep it simple stupid... kiss
cheers

Meadow sorry for your stressful situation,
You have received several excellent suggestions which i repeat for you.
Crying, running out, or emotional actions wi not help you at all.
no1: Meeting attendance is the prime factor. DOnt miss any, try to show you want answer at least once every couple of meetings or be seen with your hand up and give a bible based comment if asked, no personal additions.
no2: if you can move congregations DO SO IMMEDIATELY. if you can move and even if you cannot,, try and befriend one of the elders wives on the JC. Specifically if they are like the lead family, (there is ALWAYS a power family that holds more clout than all others). Specifically ask if you would be able to go witnessing or accompany someone in feild service, looking directly at the elder targeted. Tehy are the ones that have extra pride in themselves, they stand out a mile away. This is your secret weapon but will take 3 months work.
no3: Be calm, be relaxed at all times, do not let your emotions get the better of you.
no4: wear something that is modest such as the floral below knee lenght dress.
no5: Your prayers are personal between you and jehovah, we al know that they are not god, therefore it is not their right to ask such things, however you may tel them that you do ask jehovah for forgivness and guidance and sound mind to seek the truth.
no6: Your AA sponsor is important, THEY the JC cannot help you in that regard, they know it too!,, Work with your sponsor and stay sober, chill out relax, knowing that if you just keep going to meetings and nothing else they HAVE to let you back eventually.
no7: LIE - if they put you in a tight spot LIE,, they do and will any chance they get to make you beg, but NEVER BEG!.
IF they dont they have to have a VERY good reason not to, If they turn you donw after this third request, relax,, take a deep breath, know that they are going to be watching your reaction to see what you do and say about them. NEVER TALK YOUR PERSONAL FEELINGS TO ANY OTHER WITNESS,,, i mean that nicely,, but you must know that they have spies trying to guage your thinking, you may be surprised who they are even.
at home, at work, wherever you are never say anything against the JC members, that is why it is good if you are able to move, as the new elders can see you meek and attendig meetings, it takes away any biased decisions against you.
The third time is not going to be easy, I would be good for you to get a letter from your AA sponsor to verify that you are changed and attending reguluar meetings. i goes to show you are making changes.
hang in there,, it is a time thing, unless there is a personal issue or grudge being held against you, hence, MOVE ASAP IF THEY TURN YOU DOWN.
i have a friend who met with a couple of elders recently and i was told things went well, no issues.
well a couple weeks later they stopped by my friends place, ( just to say hi ) right before they left they said, " hey can we meet again?
my friend said, " sure ".
Your Friend has raised red flags in his thinking outside of the organisational line.
Naturally the Elder body will become concerned that his thinking is not being spread to others.
The first visit wil be to qualify his actualy thinking, and his reasons for stating such to the elders directly and make sure that in the face of two witrnesses they have his concepts correct or not.
If they understand him correctly and there IS a problem in his attitude as there seems to be so from your comments, the second visit with three elders with be conducted as a re confirmation of his current thinking again, and then an attempted readjustment of that thinking appealing to his reasoning to change that thinking.
firstly he should let them in and after useless banter / chit chat,,,,
respectfully Ask them DIRECTLY what it is they have come for, then Listen carefully to what they say.
At that point they will be wanting to hear from him if he is not towing the company line or he agrees with them.
Where by they will try to show him scriptures to adjust his thinking or see if he is apostateor end it nicely with coffee and cake.....
Your friend has three options only during the meeting:
1/ Meekly submit to their reasoning and agree fully with everything that they say. (If he does that they cannot do anything)
2/ Tell them his reasoning and show them scriptual proof, if it is within WTBS policy and he can quote WT articules as to such then he should do so at this time. if he canot do so he should take option no1 if he wishes to stay in the congregation.
3/ (if he don't want to stay in the wtbs) thentell them his reasoning as an apostate and ask them to leave his house immediately ( this will end the meeting and a JC wil be held to kick his butt out of the congregation so as to stop his thoughts being shared to others)
crying, begging or pleading dosent do anything to help his case.
lol
cheers
he joined our side.. does anyone have any connect or hear from him?.
hey carter , did they sell the branch in ACK yet?.
