1975 was a big one for me I think. I always held back believing 100%. I believed they were god's organization, I believed they were the "the truth" but there was also that big nagging doubt that kept me from being 100% gung ho JW. Try as I might, I couldn't get over, that big of a mistake. I couldn't buy their excuse. I remember too well, 1975 was IT.
There were other little things, but I was able to properly put those doubts in the back of my head, they of course all came out after my wake up.

As A Jehovah's Witness Did You Never Accept Or Believe Something They Taught?
by minimus ini never believed that in 1975 or by the end of the 20th century, we would see the great tribulation occur.
some witnesses would listen to fred franz' talks where he clearly told his audience that 1975 was the end of 6000 years and the beginning of the jubilee....or something like that.. was there something that you never truly accepted that you were supposed to believe as a jehovah's witness?.

Bible Student Creationism at its best - how can anyone believe this?
by dropoffyourkeylee ini received the latest copy of the lhmm magazine (the laymen's home missionary movement, which is one of the bible student groups which shares a common russellite origin with the jws).
i was simply amazed by their supposedly scientific article about the deluge.
at the end of the article it says you can request a full treatise on the subject.

Seems like creationists claims are getting downright desparate. Some of them make me actually laugh out loud.

Getting rid of your blood card may not be enough
by maksym ini want to share a potential problem that could come up in regards to those that have left the watchtower corporation and no longer accept their doctrines concerning blood.. obviously step one would be to get rid of the blood card; however.... recently i was put in the hospital to have an apendectomy.
the usual occurs in which a screening process is performed and records are updated before a major surgery; at least if your conscience.. one question the adminstrator nurse asked was whether i was still a jehovahs witness member of that church and if i still refused to accept blood.
i quickly updated my files telling them my current status and said i would accept blood.. the blood card was an indicator in an emergency if you were to be rushed to a hospital you did not know.. hospital records are not updated unless we choose to inform them.

Do Jehovah's Witnesses know what happened to them in 1954?
by Terry in1954: the year jehovah's witnesses stopped worshiping jesus christ.
watchtower charter: http://www.jehovah.net.au/books/1945_cha..._wtbts.pdf.
did you know that from 1879 until 1954 the writings of c.t.russell, j.f.rutherford, nathan knorr and the watchtower's own charter all agreed that jesus christ was worthy of worship?.

They don't realize Jesus isn't their mediator either. They don't realize Jesus was taken from them in 1979, and replaced with the GB.

Holy crap did that cause a flashback haha. I know colors in other things usually signify an expired signifigance. In this case, they are listed as District convention (green) and Circuit convention (yellow)

Ah, but they have.
"The Watchtower is a magazine without equal on earth because God is the author."(W.T. April 15, 1943 pg.127)
"We see no reason for changing the figures- nor could we change them if we would. They are, we believe, Gods dates, not ours. But bear in mind that the end of 1914 is not the date for the beginning, but for the end of the time of trouble. " (W.T. pg.226 July 15 1894)
To name a couple. Not to mention all the times they claim to be Jehovah's mouthpiece, channel, prophet class (Jeremiah, Ezekiel, etc)
No where, in the bible, do the false prophet tests define "if they claim to be inspiried or not." It's clear....From me, it happens...Not from me, it doesn't happen.
I know I am preaching to the choir here, but their blantant lies just irk the crap out of me.

I am still amazed at how little he knows about the history of the WT. I guess that's why he still buys into it. He only knows what he wants to know and the rest he tosses off as "nonsense"
I tried to ask him a few questions a long time ago, and brought up the ban on vaccines. He told me I didn't know what I was talking about. Okaaaaay now I understand why you are so confusing to me (I was new awake and he did confuse the hell out of me), he isn't awake.
