take a walk through the cemetery and while you are there look at all the gravestones.. on each gravestone you will see engraved the name of the deceased person.

in most cases underneath the name will be a birth date and date of death.

for example: john doe, 4 may 1957 - 21 october 2000.. then there will be some short inscription.

usama bin ladin was born in 1955 into one of the wealthiest families in saudi arabia.

the bin ladin family owns the bin ladin group, a construction firm with large contracts in the kingdom, including some that involve construction of facilities used by american military units.

the family is estimated to be worth over $5 billion; usama bin ladins personal fortune is somewhere between $250-300 million.. following the soviet invasion of afghanistan in 1979, usama bin ladin joined the cia-funded and trained mujahidin freedom fighters.

JW Theology and the NY disaster

if i am misquoting the theology espoused by jws then please correct me.. but i am trying to appreciate their theology as far as death and armageddon are concerned.

we know that the jw belief is as follows: "he who has died has been acquitted of his sin".

this is often used to imply that almost all who die prior to the great tribulation or armageddon will receive a resurrection of life or judgement (ok we know sodom dudes, judas and the flood victims wont get one according to jw theology).

as one of the knowledge-seekers who has not had the means or opportunity to do a lot of research i have benefitted greatly from the work of alan, jan and some some others.. i have a question concerning the different "paths" which are followed on the way "out" of the dubs.

how many paths are there?

how does one find the questions to ask - without getting stuck in a direction?.

i was happy when the yadrif was given the boot - we never needed the spread of hatred and name calling.

it seemed as though everyone felt the same way.. i find it hypocritical that as long as you are "influential in the xjw community" or if you run a big anti-jw website you can call anyone names and you can post any obscene drivel as long as it is a song which you dedicate other posters.. i find it ironic that a "well-respected" poster (and i could give a damn what his past actions or brave deeds are, or what fancy essays he wrote) would call me a biggot in chat for asking simple questions but then he would defend the stuff kent wrote in reference to aguest.

i don't give a damn if it was written by frank zappa or some other crack-smokin' loser - the fact that they are song lyrics is irrelevant.

is it necessary to resort to the schoolyard talk and name-calling every time someone says something, which is in disagreement with you, or is something you don't agree with?.

interestingly, some of the more "knowledgeable" persons on here seem do be the first to resort to these measures.

do they feel like they are better than the next person?.
