Only people who won't use their brain will be allowed to live in the new system. The Lord Jehovah has commanded that all people who think must be terminated! Thinking is the most evil deed in Watchtower world.

What if the student drove a better car or wore a more expensive suit than the teacher, too?

So, in Paradise, people will be working in restaurants? Will they eat from china or banana leaves? Will there be dishwashers (the people, not the machines), too? What a "reward" for a life of faithfulness - being a dishwasher, server, or other drone working in a Paradise restaurant serving vegetables to "the living dead."

Nathan Natas: You're right. Some of the people who report "life after life" experiences report seeing their pets in the afterlife as well. A man named Jim Woodruff (?) reported, upon being brought back to life after several hours, "Jesus has horses!"

I entirely approve of activism to bring about racial equality, a decent standard of living, saving the earth, etc. I don't frown on ex-JW activism because some people are actually helped by it. I entirely agree with the definition of activism put forth by Lee Marsh. I believe some activism is necessary and can lead to positive change.

My friend in Chico, California says that the JW's there bought a Nazarene Church and closed off all the windows and converted it to a Kingdumb Hell. I never heard of such a thing before, but if anyone here lives in Chico, I would appreciate confirmation of this account. I have asked Kim Brooks if she can find out about it, and she is working on it.

There are huge differences between JW's and other Christian denominations. Most Christian denominations accept other denominations as Christians, too, and don't think they exclusively have "the truth." Other Christian denominations accept that others can choose a different church and not be shunned or considered apostate. Most Christians are in favor of college and self-improvement and seeking therapy if one is troubled.
Those are the most important distinctions. Other denominations don't require their adherents to exist in a living hell.

In 1975, Dr. Raymond Moody wrote a book called "Life after Life," in which he speaks of people clinically dying and moving on to some other realm. His conclusion is that there is an afterlife, whether we call it heaven or not. There are many YouTube videos of people who have experienced this phenomenon.
Regardless of religion, race, or sexual orientation, there are hundreds of thousands of people who have had this experience. There is too much evidence of it for me to be sure one way or the other. There is no evidence that one has to be Christian to experience this.
We will all find out for sure some day.

The question could as easily be, "Are they living on Venus?" They live by the philosophy of "Do as I say, not as I do." They are so far out of touch with reality, it's like they live in another galaxy.
In their world, there is no cleaning up after oneself or working for a living. They are as well off as any billionaire, traveling first-class, being able to go anywhere in the world on a whim, having someone else to do anything they find unpleasant, and on and on.
Their hierarchy is very rigid, and it's set up so the people at the bottom stay at the bottom, especially women.
