Been in Shanghai, China (& interior) for a week; no time for I-net; Dragon Lady's friends run a small casino there. I hid out from the Elders on Xmas day there

for those who may have voted for our idiot governor in california, he just announced today (after re-election of course) that ooops!!

our state budget is 38 billion more in the hole than we thought.. like he didn't know this before.

and, now he will try to raise taxes to make up for this.. to put this in perspective, that deficit is larger than all other states total budget, except for new york.. and we got four more years of this?

I thought that sounded familiar: I searched through a couple 'o hundred Laser Discs & found "Escape From LA" starring Kurt Russell, produced by John Carpenter. Ol' Kurt looks evil on the jacket cover. He is sporting an eye-patch, a scowl and says "Snake is back"

Right on, Animal. There hasn't been anybody in CA governement since Reagan that wasn't lobotomized. CA crows about 7th, then 5th size of economy in the world (they are now backtracking to 6th), but they have driven thousands of business out. CA-gov IS ANTI-BUSINESS.

I am tired of going outside CA and having to defend the stupid politcs of total idiots that think they can run everybodies lives from Sacramento.

Climate's great, opportunities are gone and the government is beyond stupid.

But guess what: CALIFORNIA IS BROKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
