  unbelevebel most say, but read on this link, it seem s like us goverment have bigg plans fore there citizens, what did this dokument tell,you can arrest anyone keep them in prison secret, and on how long time you want, is shall be even illigal to tell about this how been arrested.. sounds crayzy, isnt the place fore freedom , we was told so, but perhaps some want to change that, as some say, i am not from us.

  so it is intresting to see what you say how live there.. i only tell what i read in europa news media.

  george bush's administration and the government is at it again, warning americans to buy among other things sheets of plastic and duct tape, select a panic room in the home, and seal every orifice to prevent biological, chemical or radioactive agents from seeping through any cracks.

  nevermind that those successful enough to seal a room completely air-tight will suffocate long before they become deceased from airborne agents of warfare.

  how many of you are concerned the ugly turn of events worldwide portends the great tribulation leading to armageddon?

  Kudo's to the "Spec" for some clear thinking and real information on the whole matter.

  A crop-duster buddy of mine had a hose spring a leak. It filled his cockpit with Malathion (or the Para, whichever is the deadlier, I don't remember). His last conscious act was to land the plane on a USAF reservation. He couldn't reach his kit and jab the needles before he passed out. He got arrested by the Air Police, on purpose.

  Like the "Spec" sez, this stuff is a contact poison and must get on you. My friend was swimming in it. And contact with him poisoned his rescuers. He woke up in a hospital bed, but he and the USAF Captain that pulled him out survived. If they can do it, so can you.

  Like the man said: do the drills. These guys have it down to a science; it is best to get educated with the counter-measures.

  BTW, notice how worthless the media is!!!!

  back before the internet, jw's who left, either df'd or da'd had nothing to rely on.

  they didn't have the communication with others, nor did they have access that they now have with the internet.

  now, anyone can log on, even jw's, and see sites like this one, that talk about the real truth.

  this question can really drive someone batty.we must show "deep respect and wholehearted obedience" to the "society, since it is controlled by the god's holy spirit" (watchtower, 15.10.1960).

  "doing what the organization says, means doing what he (jehovah) says.

  back when i was attending kingdom halls in our circuit i noticed a lot of 'drop dead gorgeous' women married to the geekiest looking guys.

  i always asked myself how these 'dorks' did it!.

  was this because selection was limited or was this just a peculiarity in our area?

  let me start by saying that i deplore much of the teachings of the watchtower and am convinced that it is not "the truth.

  " either through ignorance, error or deliberate action they have caused great heartache for thousands and unknown heartache for millions.

  i have thoroughly disconnected myself from their teachings and would rightly speak out against what i know to be harmful in that organization.

  I almost can't say it enough!!! You are right "on the money"!!!

  There are some on this board who likely believe that I am a JW "apologist". This is because I feel as you do and dont believe in going overboard with criticisms. Criticisms, where warranted, are certainly to be applied.

  But, where something that WTS says MAY HAVE BASIS, I let it slide. You can certainly find some OBVIOUSLY GLARING ERROR to put in place of the questionable matter. I prefer to be both accurate and fair, rather than to be "rabid", as WTS followers are.

  The main thing here is not that I would be an apologist for the WTS:

  I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO BE AN APOLOGIST FOR "THE APOSTATES"!!!!

  Personally, I've spent 50 years getting out of the clutches of a sociopathic JW. He is (IMO) the most obsessed person on the planet; he is totally without social conscience or skills and totally lacking compunction. Long after I left the Borg, he dogged me around the country in attempts to drag me back to the KH, enlisting aid from the network of "brothers".

  (I pioneered, was a Servant [before MS & Elder arrangements], was groomed for "better things", saw the "back-room dirt" and then reversed out into a slowwwww fade.) While I feel that many JW's would let me go my own way, there are plenty of JWs like him that wouldn't. After all, it is important to "save those souls", especially from themselves!!!!

  For speaking moderately, and for speaking out "against the current" at times, and for trying to save what family relations I have left, I know that I have been cursed on this Web community a few times

  I would like to see WTS gone and forgotten. However, while WTS uses "means both fair or foul", I prefer to stick to the use of "means most fair".

  God and I have worked out an understanding: HE is very busy and so am I. We help each other out, when we can!!!

  So, in my quest to improve myself (and the world, if I can), I move closer to God.

  In the meantime, it is obvious that the WTS is moving further away from God in their attempt to replace Him.

  You should take out the SHELL (seems to be for Shell OIl Company). That is a DUTCH company. One of the various Standard Oil outfits would be more appropriate.

  NO.... that's too evil. But, since Francois started it...

  I mentioned this to somebody; they have been doing the envelope stuffing thing for years. They have graduated from paper to METAL FOIL. It goes over the weight per postage. The junk-mailer is stuck with any charges. Could be this will change the way they do business???

  having been raised as a jw - there were many things i was told and accepted as reality.

  even after being df'd for some years i still kept these beliefs - it was not until i became a born again christian that i realized how narrow the view i held was.

  perhaps some of you can relate to these small nuggets of the "reality of the world as seen by a jw".... * only a jw has a hope of the resurrection to look forward to when someone dies.

  It floored me, too, when I thought of it!!!

  That leads to the next misconception: THE PREACHING WORK IS EFFECTIVE.
