  yep, it's mid-week and so we could take a little respite to do some scientific research.

  I started to have doubts soon after getting baptised. It took me another 13 years to extricate myself though.

  I honestly can't see the difference between the two major parties. There are billions of pounds of OUR money going to support corrupt and cruel governments all over the world. These are the kind of things I would like to see stopped. The money would be far better off spent in this country on us, that means all those living in the UK. It's never going to happen though. We don't live in a democracy in this country, it's an elected dictatorship. We vote them in and they do what the hell they like, mostly supporting their friends in 'business'. Having lived through the 80's and seeing the mess made by the Tories I would hate to see their pompous arses back in power. Then again how different is Tony B Liar and his cohorts?

  I had the PO and the CO turn up at my door when I was about 6 months into my fade away, I just nodded and said yes at all the right moments but had no intention of anything they suggested. These days if the PO and CO knocked on the door I am afraid I'd just tell them to FOAD and to never darken my doorstep again. :)

  I installed it but didn't play with it long enough to try online. Medieval Total War is one I am looking forward to trying online when I get my cable connection, that and IL2 Sturmovik.

  I agree with happyout. You will never find logic in anything the Witnesses believe. Just a cobbled together conglomeration of 'stuff' adjusted to suit the current thinking of the old codgers in Brooklyn. You'll go nuts before you find sense in their teachings. :)

  ok all you computer geeks um, geniuses.

  next weekend, steve and i along with another apostate from arizona, will be riding our bikes in a two day, two hundred mile ride from seattle to portland, oregon.

  i thought it would be kind of fun to have an apostate logo we could print on sticker paper and attach to our helmets and/or rider numbers to bug any dubbies who may be riding too.

  i've been talking to a few witnesses who were at the assembly this weekend, and apparently there were loads of apostates there!

  any body from here go?

  i was told about silent lambs, and some others who were giving out leaflets.

  Do they broadcast the Convention on local radio? I know at the Norwich Assembly they use the Football Clubs radio station to do it. JoBo FM my mate calls it. :)

  Welcome to the real world Markemark. The rest of your life is ahead of you and you know what, you don't have to listen to anyone telling you how to live it. Just take it slow and don't feel you have to rush into anything. I bet there are plenty of things you have always wanted to do but have always had to worry about what Brother Self-Righteous at the Kingdumb Hall would say\think. Well now you can do whatever you want, so start making plans, make a list if you want. Just think though, you are now free, really free to do ANYTHING you want. Life is out there, go get it! :)
