Pictures of Remembrance
by Naeblis ina simple message to the witnesses who gleefully wait at the sidelines.
a message to the "you knows" of the world who see tragedy and can only think of their "bets.
" the world can be a harsh place.

A simple message to the Witnesses who gleefully wait at the sidelines. A message to the "You Knows" of the world who see tragedy and can only think of their "bets." The world can be a harsh place. Sometimes it takes great evil to show everyone the good we are capable of.

LET'S MAKE A LITTLE WAGER
by You Know inperhaps you recall the instance in the bible where samson made a wager with the philistines that they couldnt guess his riddle.
as it turned out they wheedled the answer out of him by his fiancee, but the point is that they had a wager.
since the underlying assumption of the apostasy is that we are not living in the last days of this system of things, and that this world is not facing anything remotely like the biblical apocalypse, at least not any time soon, in the spirit of such antagonism, i would like to propose a similar wager.

The only good thing that will come from this tragedy is that once it all settles down, this yahoo will have no recourse but to slinka way with his tail between his legs. THe sickness in the mind that is needed to use a horrific event like this as another weapon to attack people that don't agree with you is staggering. Whereas before I merely regarded Yahoo as a harmless crackpot, I truly think that he is dangerous if not completely insane. Time will prove you wrong Yahoo. Again.

You called for the market to collapse of its own weakness
That has not happened. If it does (which is still unlikely) it will be from war not you rprediction.
You never even came close to predicting what happened.
YOu change your "prediction" as events unfold.
YOu are an idiot.

Scratches on forehead???
by wannahelp ini have a friend who is a jw, and he stopped over a while back to visit me... that morning, my dog and i were playing, and he had scratched my forhead, and drawn blood... i thought nothing of it, and actually had forgotten all about it.
about 5 minutes after my friend came into the house and sat down, he noticed the scratches on my forehead, and was transfixed by them.. he asked how i got them, and that became his main focus for a good 10 minutes or so.. he just sat there and stared at them.. .
what the heck was he thinking about.. i know the bible says something about marks on the forhead, but i'm not too sure what that would mean, as i'm not too well versed in the bible??

Before I return to my previous 'topic'...
by AGuest inand at risk of further appalling and perhaps even traumatizing some here... i must say that i wonder.... do you think this is what hiroshima 'felt' like for those victimized by it?
oh, ummmm... sorry, that's right: "they"... "deserved" it.
forgive me.

So, okay you 'christians', what does God REALLY
by AGuest ini would exhort you to first ask... and then listen... to the master's voice on the matter, and if you cannot 'hear'... or exercise faith in what you 'hear'... then go to the 'scriptures'.
for indeed, it is 'written'... in the scriptures.
it is not, however, 'written' in the letters, histories, chronologies and gospels.

Let's just agree to disagree. I don't like insulting you and you're entitled to believe whatever you want. Take care.

Jw's or Muslim's whats the difference?
by DannyBear ini have read much discussion about understanding the fanatic muslim terrorists reason's for this attack.
even suggesting that they have a legitimate basis for their hatred of the united states.
even a call for more tolerance toward, this sect of hatred.. yet these same individuals make it very clear that they cannot tolerate jehovah's witnesses.

To blame Islam for extreme fundamentalists is like blaming Christianity for the KKK. I know that it is a personal failing of mine to blanket people underneath their religion, and it's something I work on. I try to remind myself that beneath every generalisation is a single person who is just the same as me.
