Heh. I was wondering if anyone else remembered Cybergenics. I'm embarassed to admit I did try the stuff. Hey I was 14. I loved the little disclaimer on the pills that they didn't work in NY or wherever it was because their laws forced them to admit it was bogus. LOL. Man I was dumb.

a few years ago i wass 6'1, about 205 (all muscle) with less than 10% bodyfat.
today lets just say that i need to get back into a serious workout regimine.. .

I've tried them. I've tried a lot of different things. What works best for me, and almost everyone I know that works out, is good nutrition, very little cardio, and weight training. I'm sure you could find 10 "experts" that will tell you anything you want to believe, and like I said earlier cardio can help you lose weight. But if your goal is gaining muscle mass, excessive cardio, such as running for 30 minutes every morning, is a detriment.
And to say (or imply) that people who don't endorse Bill Phillips are drug users is ridiculous. He's a joke because he took principles that have been around since the beginning of time, packaged it in a shiny formula, and added some of his own ideas which are worthless and proclaimed himself revolutionary.

Is life really better out of the org?
by sleepy init strikes me that as witnesses most can find many faults with the world and reasons why they want to be no part of it.. things are often exagerated or demonised in the witneses eyes.. does the same thing happen in reverse when you leave the org?.
do we blow things up out of proportion to how they really are?.
are we really that much happier as people than we were in the org?.

A lot of people that have spent many years in the watchtower aren't emotionally prepared for their lives without it. They've spent all their lives hearing how the world and the people in it are evil that as soon as something bad happens to them, warning alarms go off in their heads. Life isn't always happy?? The watchtower must have been right!!! Met a person that treated me bad?? Everyone in the world must be evil!! It takes a long time to completely remove the emotional and mental screwing that has been done with our heads. THis is a big reason why so many who leave go back, even though they know that it cannot possibly be the truth.

by QUEENIE inannoying ah how sinful i am and yes after 40 years a friggin jw i am seeing a head doctor and meds for mood swings and have had loads of worldy therapy and i choze celabacy years ago and am proud of myself and love sleeping alone..the people on thread annoying are obviously jws and my daughter l i s a has their number.. now i will end this and start my book called 40 yrs with a frggin cult called the watchtower !!!
jw publishers as a whole are very abusive and it is not just the higher ups and i know loads of people have experienced such treatment...my daughter is very coherant and she told me she said it annoys her when i even say jehovah witnesses and i am going to try to be better and not annoy her she says this as she was born into it jws r full of shit..i wish i did not have to have them come pounding on ones door soliciting wt and awake.for 10 cents or whatever simon dear monitor / or see them on street corners pushing their demonized mags / but as yet they have not been declared illegal as they have been in some countries...i hope i have been coherent enough one and all / simon too..now i must go and concentrate on something more important to me like our cat whom i worship dearly p e a c e

Happiness depends on what you do with your life, not on where you spend Thursday nights. People who leave the Watchtower and then expect a world wide playground where everything they ever wanted is now available to them are in for a rough surprise. Happiness depends on your actions and what you are willing to do to achieve it.

Check that site out for a wide variety of training tips, diets.. etc. I learned a lot from this site and they have quite a few very smart people writing for them.

What can I tell you? If it works for you great. It's just not the best way to go about things. Do a bit more research than Bill Phillips though. He's widely regarded as a joke in the bodybuilding community.

Girls Playing Sports (good or bad idea)
