Does the Issue of Universal Sovereignty make sense to you as an explanation for evil?
by gubberningbody init used to for me, and now it doesn't.. i'm not sure how i was able to accept that argument now that i don't, but perhaps it was connected with my increasing compassion for people and their personal suffering as i've grown older.. now it seems like a sick excuse.
more like a bar-bet with satan and all of creation suffers.. i read paul's words and he has no rejoiner except to say in effect "sucks to be a vessel of wrath...glad i'm not one, but who are you to complain anyway, huh?
who's bigger, smarter and more powerful than you, you, you complaining vessel of wrath, you.

Basically all this suffering is a consequence for using our "GOD GIVEN" free will. All to prove that we shouldnt of excersised what choices we have. Why would a God of Love need to prove that we NEED him? Why test? Couldnt a simple "hey guys! You love me?" Mankind: "Of Course!!" Cool....have fun!!" Be enough!! God is definitely made in OUR image because humans demand PROOF of love, often, beyond what is reasonable capabilities!!

If you read the bible and believe it, after A+E eat the fruit God explains and confirms that "They have become like us knowing good and bad".
Therefore, humans are "like" them in that we can choose. Before that we had free will but did not know that we had options. We can have free will without options. For example, we can use our free will to eat oranges instead of apples but that free will is useless if we never even knew that oranges existed.
These past 6 thousand years have been all to prove that we make horrible choices and life would be better if we forget that "oranges" exist. Gods way or his soviergnty is the best choice and will one day be the only choice.....according to the WTBS which is GOD!!!

Effective means of "apostasizing" at conventions and assemblies?
by stillstuckcruz ini notice most apostates will picket signs or try to place their own literature with the witnesses.
i cant see how the latter is effective since jw's are so heavily bombarded with warnings about apostate literature.
i was thinking that an effective strategy might be printing out lots of copies of older and current magazines, highlighting specific phrases and words, and stapling them together to show the obvious inconsistency of the wt.

Would they throw away old wt?!? In essence throwing away or denouncing JW history?!? That would, in it self, say so much about the ineptitude of the org...Surely though the jdub throwing it away would not catch the irony. Too much thinking required!!

I am really inspired cedars!! maybe if each one of us tried to get our local news channels or papers to at least hear us out maybe this can move from being an isolated things to an actual movement!!
