THIS Is How JWs Feel About The Cut In Magazines And Content
by pale.emperor ini asked the question on quora "how do jehovah's witnesses feel about the announcement that the public edition of the watchtower and awake!
magazine is being reduced to just 3 issues a year and the number of books, tracts, and online content are being discontinued?".

If WT are cutting back on mags will they also cut back on Bethelites?
by truthseeker ini was thinking after hearing about the agm cutbacks to the mags and other website content surely they will end up dismissing more bethelites?
i would have thought in the old days, before the web, an artist or writer at bethel would have been a full time job making content for four 32 page mags a month.
now what are these guys going to do?.

There have been tremendous cutbacks to Bethelites already. For well over a year now, many Bethelites, including married couples who were thinking they were going to be spending the rest of their lives at Bethel, have received their pink slips.
Also, they have not been accepting anywhere as many persons into Bethel, as they have only just a few years ago. Bethelites about a year ago, were told they would NOT be having their medical benefits any longer. Some only had about 2 to 3 months notice before their benefits ended, if I recall correctly.
This has been going on already way before these new publication cutbacks were announced. In fact these latest mag, and literature cutbacks, are the next phase of cutting down.
The first phase was letting go of literally THOUSANDS of Bethelites worldwide.

Contradicting Society directives
by stuckinarut2 inwith the agm changes, and the changes over the recent few years, it struck me just how contradictory and hypocritical the society is.. we were always told that "wonderful expansion" and growth in halls was proof of god's blessing.
now it is the other way around, and building expansion is halted.. we were always told that door to door is the best way to take the "life saving" truth to people.
now it is the cart work.... we were always told that the abundance of "spiritual food" in the form of publications was proof of gods direction and teaching.

Its so true. Hypocrisy at its worst. The WBTS are some of the biggest "spinners" of tales, of any small, organized cult/religion.
Almost everything they have said, in the past, and used as a basis of their own claimed "divinity", and as the very foundations of their beliefs, are now, either completely changed, proven wrong, or disregarded completely for a new "spin".
If ever the words, "the truth is not in them", could apply, is now. I honestly don't know how they can live with themselves. Its such an insult to any logical, and intelligent person, to just think that this complete 180 in beliefs, is "normal", and acceptable.
They would always tout the words "humility", and being "meek". Yet they dogmatically tell all to follow them blindly, and do as we say, not as we do, while flip flopping on EVERY major example of why they are the "true religion".
If the word TRUTH is the basis for them being divinely chosen, then it is very clear God has NOT chosen them. In fact, God has quite forgotten them as they flounder on the shores of untruth. They crumble on the foundations of lies. They are withering away as an organization, as they blow in the winds of lies, with no substance to stand on.

"special" anti cart campaign!!
by nowwhat? ingo up to cart witnesses and ask what their organization is doing to aid hurricane victims.
and when they say they look to gods kingdom for the solution.
say your solution is for god kill 99.9 % of humans!

@ Steve2 - You are so right, many JW's use that nonsense "logic" to gauge others spirituality and faith. It creates people who are afraid to express emotion, bottle up their feelings, and are denied the chance to properly mourn the loss of a loved one.
Its actually quite evil, when you think about it. The fact that everyone walks around, pretending how they feel, instead of actually feeling what they feel, creates an organization full of the R&F faking, pretending, spying, hiding, lieing, sneaking, back stabbing, judging, and dividing each other. None of them are really and truly loving each other, though, and that's the sad part.

Pedophile on The Governing Body
by new boy inthe bottom line there is zero tolerance for any homosexual activity in jehovah’s holy organization.
so all known gays had been kicked out and disfellowshipped before i got to bethel and gays got kicked and disfellowshipped and disgraced when i was there.
sorry, i guess i meant most homosexuals were kicked out in disgrace.

If this is all true, and by no means am I saying its not true, then this is HUGE. I am surprised this information has not been exposed for much more to see.
I mean, a GB member actually being a pedophile, it doesn't get anymore bigger than that. He got a slap on the wrist, and was sent out to prey on the unsuspecting, again. Its unbelievable. The facts, and details of this situation should be front and center, and made easily available for everyone.
This is almost as big as Franz's nephew, and "crisis of conscience", where in a GB member left, and blew the whistle on a lotta shit.
If many current JW's, especially the many that are on the fence, were to reliably find this info, about a GB pedophile, I think it could open quite a few of their eyes.
I, myself, want to verify this story a little further, and please any other info or place you can direct me would be awesome, cause I want to pass this information on to my, still in, parents. I KNOW this would open their eyes.
I never heard about this before. Thank you for clueing us in, and any other specific info you could provide, that could help verify this, would be awesome.

Today's Text - Justifying The Increase Of Annointed Ones!
by Divergent inthursday, august 31. jehovah knows those who belong to him.—2 tim.
2:19.. in recent years, we have seen an increase in the number of those partaking at the memorial of christ’s death.
that trend contrasts with the decrease in the number of partakers that we saw for many decades.

This REALLY is ridiculous, its unreal. According to JW's own rhetoric, the anointing is one of, if not the most, important doctrine to their beliefs. It is one of the biggest things deciding that it is the "last days". It is the "calling" of the "special" humans that will judge humanity themselves. These anointed are said to become immortal, and are providing the very knowledge to the organization.
Wouldn't we all agree that being anointed, is HUGE, in this religion. So, with that being said, how could, what arguably be the MOST IMPORTANT doctrine, have so much confusion around it? We know that this is a calling, and is done by Gods holy spirit itself. The importance cannot be overstated. Yet, God himself is making "mistakes", REALLY???
If its "holy spirit" that chooses, and anoints these persons, surely Gods same holy spirit could not allow ANY from falsely feeling they are anointed? Especially when it concerns this specific situation, in where the anointed are a HUGE part of EVERYTHING.
WTF, how is this "smoke n mirror" BS, not being called out more. This is insane. The ONLY earthly organization that God himself is using's, most important doctrine, is "tainted" by MENTALLY, and EMOTINALLY DISEASED people, seriously??
This is what these 7 charlatans have to offer, these days. This is the best they can come up with? The fact that they feel this "explanation" is satisfactory, just shows how dumbed down this religion has gotten. It actually makes sense since there are SOO MANY mentally disturbed people in the R&F, lol.

Set the record straight!
by Colinconfused ini would like to state publicly, on this forum, i no longer hold the views i had a year ago.. with much thought, research, study and logical examination i have come to a better understanding of my beliefs and where i stand on all these issues.. i'm very happy to announce i have returned to healthful teaching of the holy scriptures and i firmly believe that the governing body of jehovah's witnesses is the faithful slave.. sorry if i have contibuted to any kind of stumbling and know that if i can turn things around then there's hope for all who come to there sence.. phill4:6,7.

Why is Enoch referenced in the bible but his book omitted?
by Ursula inwhy is enoch referenced in the bible but his book omitted?.

Also, the "content" of the book of Enoch, was considered very "controversial" for its time. The book of Enoch gets into great detail about the pre-deluvian world. It literally names specific demons that "walked" the earth before the flood.
It gets into specific characteristics of these demons, even as far as "forbidden knowledge" they taught to mankind. Such things as weapon making, astrology, and even eye make-up for woman, lol.
It attempt to fill in missing years of Enochs life, like where he was when "God took him away". Its a very interesting book, along with the book of Jubilees as well. It is almost like a sci-fi/fantasy story, but written as a bible book.
I think it was just "too much", for some of the "holy" Christians back then, who had the job of deciding which books were gonna be in, or out, of the bible cannon.

New Research at AJWRB

the numbers are staggering.

@ Listener - The truth hurts, doesn't it. Its funny how you read that, and heard "hate speech", yet I was just stating EXACTLY what happens, and has happened from this organization.
It sounds like "hate" to YOUR simple ears. You know why, because what the organization pushes IS HATEFUL. What the organization stands for, concerning having members DIE for a false interpretation, is EVIL.
So, even though I said NOTHING hateful, but instead just stated EXACTLY WHAT IS GOING ON IN THIS ORGANIZATION, it is so horrible that you heard "hate" even when it wasn't there.
You see, when an organization claims that they stay away from blood because it REPRESENTS LIFE, but will then allow ACTUAL LIFE to DIE, for a SYMBOL, is twisted logic. Think about it.
Btw, I don't hate you for misreading the facts about what this organization does.

You see, its THIS kinda stuff above, that could actually take this evil organization, that preaches institutionalized murder, out of the game.
I know a lot of us would LOVE to sue this org for their unfair JC, and DFing, and their kangaroo "court". Yet, its the blood doctrine, that is what could, and should finish off this death cult.
The many loved ones that have lost their innocent lives, for a false doctrine, pushed by an evil organization, intent on creating "martyrs", should never be forgotten. The surviving loved ones who have lost family, and children to this evil, should sue the shit outta this death corporation.
Especially now that they allow certain blood parts, and certain fractions, and this part is good, but this part is bad. Its ridiculous. So, unfounded, and not based in scripture, in any way shape or form.
Sue this crap out of these clowns for taking Mothers, and Fathers, brothers and sister, and innocent children, away.
The nation of Israel used to condemn the "demonic" ritual of Baal worship, and how the worshipers would sacrifice their children to the fire for Baal. Well, what are JW's doing when they "sacrifice" their own children, to the BLOOD god, and evil Watchtower Blood gods.
Sue them into bankruptcy! Sue them into destruction! Bring this to the attention of all who will listen. Fight for the voices who can no longer speak. Those who died, for a money hungry, organization, that could care less about its members. Its a death cult, and the Elders on the blood committees that would threaten DFing if blood was used, are simply just EXECUTIONERS in suits and ties.
Their sins have amassed high unto the heavens indeed.
