I second what Arrowstar said about Grapevine-Colleyville ISD. The Carrol ISD which is right next door is also very good. The Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD also has a good reputation. You might find a better value for housing in the HEB area. Colleyville housing tends to be very large homes on very large lots with prices to match. Let me put it this way. None of the staff at the Colleyville Wal-Mart can afford to live there.

Thank God that he is free at last from this imprisoning body! I am sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my Dad many years ago. I know that you will miss him, but take comfort in the knowledge that he has moved onto a higher plane. God Bless your whole family!

I have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease. The doctor put me on Sulfsalazine tabs (6 per day, 2 after each meal) I no longer have a problem in that area. I have cut my medication to 2 tabs (500mg) in the morning after breakfast. I think that the generic name for Sulfasalazene is Asulfazide.

If we forgive everyone who sins against us, does that not free us from sin?
by DavidChristopher ini mean, is that not like having a free pass to do as you please?
as long as you freely forgive, when people sin against you, then does that mean our father will forgive us 99 times when we sin against him?.
sure wouldn't be hard to convince people to obey that command would it?

Sin, by definition, is that which separates us from God. Since nothing can ever separate us from God, there can never be any such thing as sin. Only in our human minds can we be hurt or harmed by anyone. That part of us that was created in perfection, in the image and likeness of God, can never be hurt or harmed by anything that happens on this plane of existence. True forgiveness consists of realizing that nothing has hurt or harmed you in any way. When the bible says, "Don't Judge", what it really means is don't condemn anyone. It is not our place to do so. God does not hold us responsible for the things we do while we are unconscious. The problem is, we do hold ourselves responsible and the memory of past mistakes will no doubt be very painful to us when we get to do our "life review". It will be especially painful when we come to realize that we ourselves have been the author of the events that have taken place in our lives. This is OUR dream, or nightmare as the case may be.

Jehovah KILLED Jesus before he came to earth
by VM44 inin another thread the question of a person's memories being placed within a re-created body has been discussed.
the possibility was raised that what if two bodies were created, and the person's memories were placed in both bodies?
which re-created person would be the continuation of the original person?.

What if the Hindus are correct and all of this is "Maya", Illusion? According to Hindu theology, and also "A Course in Miracles" we have never left our home in heaven. We are only dreaming a lucid dream of separation that never really happened. The concept of memories only becomes important if you believe that life is in the body. According to the mystic Joel Goldsmith, there is only one body and that body is immortal and eternal. This thing we have on earth that ages and dies, gets sick, and suffers all manner of distress is merely a "concept of body".

we have not come to that knowledge yet.
when we do, life will be exponentially more enjoyable for all living things.

Joel Bear:
You might be interested in what A Course In Miracle has to say on the subject. This selection is from a Chapter entitled Reason & Perception.
"Listen, --Perhaps you catch a hint of an ancient state not quite forgotten; dim, perhaps, and yet not altogether unfamiliar, like a song whose name is long forgotten, and the circumstances in which you heard completely unremembered. Not the whole song has stayed with you, but just a little wisp of melody, attached not to a person, or a place or anything particular. But you remember, from just this little part, how lovely was the song, how wonderful the setting where you heard it, and how you loved those who were there and listened with you."
"The notes are nothing. Yet you have kept them with you, not for themselves, but as a soft reminder of what would make you weep if you remembered how dear it was to you. You could remember, yet you are afraid, believing you would lose the world you learned since then. And yet you know that nothing in the world you learned is half so dear as this. Listen, and see if you remember an ancient song you knew so long ago and held more dear than any melody you taught yourself to cherish since."
"Beyond the body, beyond the sun and stars, past everything you see and yet somehow familiar, is an arc of golden light that stretches as you look into a great and shining circle. And all the circle fills with light fefore your eyes. The edges of the circle disappear, and what is in it is no longer contained at all. The light expands and covers everything, extending to infinity forever shining and with no break or limit anywhere. Within it everything is joined in perfect continuity. Nor is it possible to imagine that anything could be outside, for there is nowhere that this light is not. "
"This is the vision of the Son of God, whom you know well. Here is the sight of him who knows his Father. Here is the memory of what you are; a part of this, with all of it within, and joined to all as surely as all is joined in you. Accept the vision than can show you this, and not the body. You know the ancient song, and know it well. Nothing will ever be as dear to you as is this ancient hymn of love the Son of God sings to his Father still."

If she is going to remain a JW, you are better off without her. The strains on a marriage, especially dealing with the children, are intolerable. My wife was a methodist when we married but became a JW during a bout with post-partum depression. She wanted to raise the kids as JWs and since I was in the military and gone for long periods of time, there wasn't much that I could do about it. After I retired and the kids became older they all bailed out of the JW faith and that created additional strain as she held me responsible. I'm happy to say that I did have a hand in that, but was greatly aided by the stupid policies of the Watch Tower and Bible Tract Society. It is a cult religion and the resentment is hard to deal with. They would consider her "unevenly yoked" unless you became a JW. Should you decide you will become a JW, you will need a strong stomach and be willing to cut off your "worldly" family. We have managed to keep our marriage together, but it has been difficult and much is lacking because we are divided religiously. My wife now shuns our children. Notice that they asked her to make a decision between you and "Jehovah", not you and the WTBTS. She has been raised to believe that she will be destroyed at Armegeddon unless she is a member in good standing of the WTBTS. You might ask yourself what kind of a god they worship.

I think that I would be tempted to complain to the hospital administration about this matter. Sounds like she went way beyond her authority on this one.

why do so many religions claim that Jesus is God?
by evergreen inhi everyone, i have often wondered why so many religions view jesus as being god.
every website i look up claiming to be the christian faith strongly believe that this is the case.. i mean the actual trinity doctrine didnt come about untill about the 3rd or 4th century and was originally the catholic church that brought it about.
although jehovahs witnesses seem to push jesus into the background a lot which is something that has always troubled me.

I like what Charles Fillmore, the founder of the Unity movement, had to say when he was asked the question. "Was Jesus God?
He replied:
"Jesus was not God! However, he so gave up his sense of personal self and so identified with his Father in heaven that it becomes difficult to tell where Jesus leaves off and God begins."
