At least these spirits wont tell you that the best way to fix anything wrong in your life is to go out in the ministry more and attend all the meetings to get encouragement.
recently, a former witness expressed his opinion to me that he knew more than a few witnesses that were gay.personally, i know of a bisexual ex-elder who was unhappily married for a few years.
now he's "out", pardon the pun, of the organization.
i know of a newly appointed ms who is married to a sister but most people suspect he is gay.
Yes while at Bethel. There they are grouped into a specific category called "NPG's" Non Practicing Gay's. I had heard one guy that I used to work with in shipping getting Dfed when he went home due to homosexuality and I wasnt surprised.
Also one who used to work in Service while I was there, wasnt married and was VERY effeminate... of course that does not guarantee that he was/is gay but he sure seemed like it. May even be the same guy that mini's friend told him about who knows.

i've owned two different ipods including the video ipod.. i own two different iriver products including the new iriver clix2 (mp3 player, video player, digital recorder and fm radio.).
to me the iriver is the clear winner on all fronts.
(cheaper, too).. briefly: iriver allows multiple file formats and drag and drop file use.

Of course, none of what you hear on any of these systems could be called 'audio' and that is why I do not own any of them.
In fact mp3 downloads strip out some of the source information and give you a mere approximation of the studio sound.
I guess my hearing is not all that good because I really cant tell the difference.
In the end its portability and size of the device that matters anyway and this is why digital music is hear to stay.

I agree with you, most are idiots and the ones that realize this the most are other elders. Once you get appointed its like..."thats how things are decided???!!?" "these guys don't know their ass from a hole in the ground!!!"
Then you have 2 choices: try to change things to no avail by trying to be christlike and kind or become like the rest of them and be WTdisciples. If you choose to try to change things its only a matter of time before you are deleted or you step aside and end up here.

My guess is because Jesus said his father is " The Only True God" That's the answer I think you will get from the Society.

I have noticed this trend as well. In fact I missed so many mtgs earlier this year and the only reaction I got from the rest of the body of elders is ".....we'd like to sit for a few minutes and make sure you are ok". 20 yrs ago elders didn't miss mtgs unless you were contagious or bed-ridden.

the purpose of going to the hall and preaching is to worship god.
yet, the wt leave out a critical component to their.
My congregation is social among the different cliques. In general though I seldom see JWs other than mtgs and F/S. In my case though, I can't stand being around them anymore and if it weren't for my wife insisting that we go to the rare gatherings that we are invited to I would never see them other than at the hall. I have slowly removed myself from the tiny social scene.... good riddance!
