I'm deadly serious now.
Is this child abuse?
Is it?
i have never ridden/driven a motorcycle or a scooter.
but, i'm thinking about getting one.. in fact, a chinese scooter!.
they get 100 mpg on gasoline and they are under $900 bucks.. .
Yeah Terry, I agree with James Woods, if I lived in the US and especially Texas I'd definately get the biggest big ass truck I could.
You could always carry the scooter in the back in case you run out of petrol!
On a serious level though, when I travel through Europe and see all the Parisians and Italians zooming around on scooters with HOT babes clinging on to them I think WOW, I'd love to do that! So yes, I too have been thinking about buying a scooter. Just need a hot babe, or my wife of course.
We went for a drink near Southampton in the summer and there were hundreds of scooters in town. Apparently some guy had died who was a Mod (don't know if you have Mods in the States) and all his mates turned up to show respect.
How cool is that?
Sheep are adorable but they are also incredibly stupid which is why the tower is constantly urging it's followers to be sheep-like.
Seriously, a farmer along the road road from me rented land across the river. To get his sheep to the other side he would tie a rope around one and pull it across. I was amazed to see all the others follow suit. I laughed at this and he said, 'oh yes we have a saying for sheep which is, if one drowns they all drown'. He has had one swim out into a lake and a whole load more followed only to drown.
No other animal on earth is plagued with so many ailments and deseases as a sheep. It's as if they just want to die and the farmers have to struggle to keep them alive!
I think that when the bible refers to sheep-like ones somebody was having a very sick and cruel joke. And as far as the Jehovah's are concerned, in my experience, where one goes the rest will follow. Just watch the dodo's in the film 'Ice Age'.
'Doom on you', they boldly proclaim.
i searched for this here and didn't find any posts about it.
i just found this while searching for info as i was debating a jw on another site.
this is the most mind-blowing, spaced-out, insane bunch of mess i've ever heard.

Hi Becky
I think you've done the right thing by coming on here.
I struggled on my own for years and could not make sense of things. It is very helpful to hear other peoples feelings and experiences. Some people on here just want to have a laugh which is fine if that's their way of dealing with the stress.
Peace to you and live the life!
was the snake or serpent created perfect, god saw it was.
good.
so if the serpent or snake(presumably innocent).
probably this topic has been dealt with before, but i'm relatively new here, so perhaps y'all will be willing to indulge me in my pursuit for clarity.
regarding the anointed, the gb recently said this: .
"we thus have no way of knowing the exact number of anointed ones on earth; nor do we need to know.

The fact that they do not keep such a record is conspicuous by its absence because if they did we could work out exactly how many there have been since the founding of the WBT$. Hypothetically, that number, coupled with the number of Christians from the first century until Russel would, without doubt, exeed 144,000 and would expose the doctrine for the lie that it is.
The thread that deals with this crucial topic is fascinating and worthy of more research.
Obviously our research has limitations but I always struggled to believe that the number of 144,000 had not been exeeded. I'm certain that they knew this and the 'Great Crowd' teaching was a direct response to this which would, of course, create somewhere for the surplus to go.
Sorry to repeat myself, but this always nagged at me in the back of my mind like an alarm and I don't think I ever really bought in to it.
