Sex without emotion

who then fall in love, and end up having to admit that sex without emotion was not possible.
i wonder though, do you really think this is the case.

When I was a kid, porn magazines were about the only way you were likely to see a woman naked. With any regularity at least. When I started having sex, there was no need for porn.
then the interwebs come along with the promise of all the free dirty pictures and movies on any variety of subjects you could possibly imagine. I played around with online porn for a while, it was a novelty. I introduced my wife to porn and we watched some together to spice things up a bit. There are things we probably never would have tried if it weren't for porn (you know what I mean). But we both got tired of it.
We have sex (pretty much) every day and an occasional 3some. Who needs porn??
Most of the guys I know who look at a lot of porn have damaged their taste in women, IMO. My wife is 37 and we have a kid. She's fit and has DD fake boobs (kid stole the originals), so I'm not complaining... but it'd be hard for any woman to compete with 19 year old surgically enhanced bodies with flattering lighting and camera angles. A guy spends too much time watching that stuff and a REAL woman isn't going to look good enough in comparison to the airbrushed 2D versions. That's my .02

personally, i never felt i would be good enough for a split second.
one would think that knowing you can not be good enough to survive would it make it easier to leave the witnesses and live for the present.

Never. I never imagined that I would meet God's intense standard for his righteous new system.
I no longer believe in God. But I now think that if there is a God, his standards aren't likely anywhere near as strenuous as the WTS suggests. Ironically, I have more hope for a favorable afterlife as an atheist. LOL

My mom [a born-in JW, whose father was a born-in JW] always told me that viewing pornography and/or masturbation would lead to homosexuality. When I told her that was ridiculous she would say that it taught you self-gratification and if you didn't become a homosexual you would be a selfish lover.

Born ins..Were You Forced to Be a JW Growing Up?

Born-in and indoctrinated by parental force. Just after my 17th birthday my dad and I had one of those, "if you live under my roof you will" sort of chats. I packed all my stuff and left. Never went back home. But I tried the JWs again a few years later. The second time I left for more profound reasons.

I have a quite a few tattoos. My entire chest and large pieces on both arms. Along with a friends birth-death dates on my ribs.
One of them is a Dore-style illustration from The Divine Comedy. I have plans to get a Golden Calf tattoo inspired by the illustration in MBofBS. I was just wondering... does anyone have religious or even JW themed tattoos?

It is funny how differently you look at people when you're out. I actually started making friends AT WORK!! *GASP* And I participate in charity fundraisers now that I never would've been involved in as a JW. Of course... I was poor when I was a JW, so that may have something to do with that as well... LOL.
