I take it you're refuring to the child molesting cases?

Yes I do think if they knowingly have a child molester in their
congr. and they don't go to the police to report that person
then that molester attacks another child, they the elders and the
WTS itself should be held liable.

Same thing goes for the individual JW.
Because they could have prevented it from happening again.

Not only held liable in the courts eyes, but also in Gos eyes.

Another case of a person not willing to take resposibility
for his own actions.

There are too many people blaming someone or something else
for the problems they have brought upon themselves.

They are fat.
So it's the fast food resturaunts fault.
I know it's the reaturaunts fault because they went to the persons home
and forced them to eat enough fast food to make them fat.

Same thing goes for people blaming cigarette companies for the ills
that smokers have.
I don't side with tobacco companies because cigarettes are indeed habit
forming and definately not good for the body.

But, people know full well that cigarettes can cause all sorts of
problems and yet continue to smoke.
Then they want to sue the tobacco companies when they get sick from smoking.

NOBODY forced them to smoke!!!

Next thing we'll see is someone sueing cleaning fluid companies because they drank cleaning fluid and became sick.

OK. Maybe not.
But it could happen with people that refuse to take personal responsibility
for their own actions.

at this point in my life i feel very confident that leaving the jws was the best thing for me.

however, 25 years of brainwashing goes a long way.

(for arguments sake) if religion collapsed today, would you feel you made a mistake in leaving the wbts?

I wouldn't go back to the WTS.

They've already proven beyond a doubt that they are not
what they claim to be.

If religion collapsess, I take it ALL religion will collapse.
Including the WTS.

If we take the teaching that Babalon the Great is false religion
as a true teaching, then I can't see how any religion could stand
because they are ALL teaching falsehoods, and are ALL run and
controlled by man.

What Really Happened To Ray Last Sunday.

last sunday evening the following posters piled into the pub: ballistic, little toe, simon, angharad, me, her ladyship, latte, celtic, matty, trucker gb, isp, jstlaws and joy2bfree.

many of us quickly became aware that some of the locals were feeling agitated because, it was rumoured, one of the regulars had been beaten up.

possibly, it was mooted, by someone who was connected to a local kingdom hall.. .

In fact with all these apostates around maybe the Borg is looking for people like Lucy's son to "reach out".

This will be the next 'new lite'.

Jehovah has now told the GB of JWs that it's ok to be obusive
verbally and physically to those that are not and do not want to be JWs.

I can picture the applause now.

Brothers will be thrilled with thinking of how they can cause the
most pain and suffering to those that have the nerve to think
that God is not using the WTS as His org.

Tonight's Internet Meeting Part

i just had to go to meeting tonight to hear the material on the internet.

it was the usual stuff about pornography, many scriptures and three mentions of how jehovah was giving this material to the slave to give to us at this time, so there must be a reason.

of course, satan got three mentions too as one who is trying to ensnare us into abusing the net.. and of course, nothing on the net can be trusted, per the fsd.

JEHOVAH was giving this material to the SLAVE to give to us at this time, so there must be a reason.

How many times over the years has the WTS stated this?

Each time the WTS came out with 'new lite' they would state this.

And each new lite that they said came from God, has been turned off.
And replaced with a newer lite.

How many times can they state this and have people believe them?

Their new lite from God angle is beginning to flicker as more and more JWs are realizing the new lite from the WTS is coming from burnt out bulbs.
