There is no evidence whatsoever to support the idea that there's something after death and I thing that it is useless to have this kind of questions because anyway, if there's something, we will all know it someday. Instead, we should enjoy our life as it is presently.

Is death the end?
by kevin221 insorry it's been some time since i posted but i was busy rearranging my life.
just wondering what the general consensus is among posters on this board to this question, is death the end of existance, or a portal to a new reality?
my 2 cents, death is only the beginning of a new reality.

I don't want to give me the adjective of better because that would make me appear as a superior person but, I definitely learned a lot of things by leaving the WBTS. I learned to be more open-minded and more human too. Now, I accept my limit as a human and I accept that someday, I'll die because everything that have a beginning must have an end too. And now, I know that there's some really good person outside of the org, they are not just sinner who must die at Armageddon.

Masturbation is more dangerous than atheism
by Elsewhere inhttp://www.whitehouse.org/initiatives/purity/index.asp .
president bush is proud to introduce an ambitious new phase in the fight to preserve all that is decent in america.
conceived and championed by the revered republican think tank americans for purity, "operation infinite purity" is dedicated to the complete eradication of masturbation from american soil by the year 2005. .

Losing my Religion......
by flower inwell at 29 years old, after a lifelong relationship/belief in/association with a higher power i called god, here i am very close to taking an athiestic or agnostic approach to the rest of my life.
it really hit me the other day although my doubts have been there but i just have been forcing myself to ignore them because i was afraid to give up that religious part of me because its all that i have ever been and i was afraid of the unknown.
but i realized after getting through another one of those weeks from hell that it makes no difference how much i pray or how much i believe.

You have the same doubt than me. As I write in my signature, I don't believe in a god who will fix our problem anymore. We have to make an effort, if we want to find happiness in this life. We are into this life on our own and we are the only one who have the power to do some change. I don't know if the theory of evolution is true but, presently I thing that it's the best theory to explain why we are here.
We become more attuned to the human condition when we recognize that God is not going to fix our problems.

Definitely, this post really describe my experience. When I was in school, I always had the feeling that I wasn't part of the gang. So at the age of 12, I began to have a double-life. When I was in school, I was trying to be a cool guy and I was a rebel but at home, I was a quiet boy who always listen to his parents. This is why, I'm shy now because I often try to hide my real self.

This is what happen when someone have a lack of argument, he attack the person itself and try to destroy its reputation. If only, you had a real argument to proove that you are not wrong lol.

Well, if you are happy with the Jehovah Witness stay with it but, it is your choice (I'm not sure if it's a real choice since you are brainswashed...) but, respect the choice of the other people. And for the child molesting scandals, just take a closer look at your religion and you'll see that these scandals exist in the Jehovah Witness too. Also, there's a lot of proof that the WBTS associated themselves with the wild beast of the Revelation book and still, we don't see people flocking of this false religion. I know that you won't believe me because, it would be too hard for you to open your eyes and take a look at the real "truth".
