well, things have moved very quickly with the survey, and it now has it's very own website at www.jwsurvey.org!!.

my oldest teenage daughter (15) is a publisher and goes to all meetings with her father (we divorced, he picks her up).
i try to get her more involved in school and to spend more time with friends outside the congregation.
i'm to the point where i'm going to simply forbid it and send her off to collage early!
Thanks for all your advise... but as you all know, I'm on that wall and just sooooo scared of what will happen if I stop all at once? Will my old parents have a heart attack and die from the pain? I havent gone to meeting in a month now, but to stop completely scares me. I'm not sure if that is what is best for my daughters?

Welcome BLUE! You have come to the right place. I've only been a member a few weeks and I could honestly say... you are among friends! I am also on the fence... inactive for 6 years now... but still attend KH.
From what I read, you really don't have anything holding you there... and you have your husbands support.
but when they end like that three times....it's strike three... or maybe it was strike #3,333,333.......but it is sad and painful for us both i know.....a person must be in a very very bad place to act like that in front a man you have loved and been intimate with for 15 years....and at that moment i am satan in front of her....a begging pleading attempting to reason satan...but still satan to her and her friends.....but this nice woman needs satan out of her life now....oompa.
i am not a bad person...i am not satan...i asked her why she thought i had tried so hard....told her that if she was in a burning building just how hard would she think i would try to get her out??
she did not like that analogy either...so i have started the painful process...the building is going to burn to the ground now....and i will never put her through that fingers in ears thing again.... and i will be fair and reasonable....and pay her the alimony and give her half....i could so be a satan to her in divorce....but i won't!...i can at least prove to them all that i am decent man...and not mentally diseased or satan.....and ahhhhh i feel good about that....plus both my boys are free now...

summary - i developed a piss poor, combative, rebellious attitude toward the society many years ago.
my wife saw it and hated it.
GO FOR IT!!!! TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY, you may not get another. This could plant that little seed your wife may need to doubt the ORG. They may get DF, but consider how great the outcome may be.

Your only real concern should be your kids and your husband... if... you still love each other and you're willing to stick it out for him.
If you stop cold turkey, bring out your claws, and bring out everything that you have inside, the outcome will be getting expelled for apostate (remember this sin has no mercy or forgiveness). Are you ready to face all that?
Will your husband try to divorce you? Will he try to take your kids away? If he is %110 JW as he claims this is the truth, he will not leave you... but how will your relationship suffer? How will this affect your kids?
If you wait and have patience, you have the opportunity of getting your husband on board. Hard choice to make, I know you must feel desperate.
