Also, Richard Dawkins has a book, or ipad app, "The Magic of reality" that does a good job of explaining how to think properly.

TTATT Billboards?
by Emery inhas anyone ever thought about paying for a billboard close to either an assembly hall or a kingdom hall during memorial season?
for instance i would probably pay for a billboard for a week or 2 displaying jwfacts.com on the highway or a nearby road that witnesses travel on heavily.
has anyone ever tried something like this?.

NLP, Subliminal Messages and the WT Writing Department
by 00DAD ina few years ago i became interested in the subject of neuro-linguistic programming (nlp).
while the core concepts of nlp have been largely discredited as new-age pseudo-science, there is no doubt that there is at least some validity to the idea.
words and images remain the key way we communicate.

i've thought about doing this if I am ever confronted bu the local hitmen. ( elders)
I have rented billboards in the past and it depends on the size, traffic, lighted, paper or vinyl printed etc,..
I would have to, currently, have a way of setting it up anonymously to prevent any blow back.
I think that either JwFacts.com or The truth about "The Truth"
I think a major highway for a few months would expose all the Jws in the area to the sign. It would be the gossip of the circuit, "Did you hear about the apostate billboard on hwy x,., don't drive by there and look at it"
Also thought about buying one of those directional speakers where only those in the zone can hear the info and I would beam it at the entrance of the DC or CA just looping

Scary moment: Watchtower Study conductor got mad about answer

My husband MISSED the meeting today! Unheard of!
by Julia Orwell inhe decided to take me somewhere nice in the country for a day instead, and when he suggested it last night i was amazed that he would have even thought of missing the meeting!
he was one of those guys who only missed a meeting, literally, if he had a spinal injury and couldn't move!.
but, i've been sharing a little of the ttatt with him, teensy tiny bits that i can substantiate from the bible or other reputable sources.

When my wife and I were at the talking stage, but she still was not sold on the idea that the WTBTS could be wrong, we had wen to lunch one day and I told her that I had learned a new term, "Cognitive Dissonance" and then we just continued on with what ever we were talking about.
About 5 minutes later she said "What was that new term you mentioned?" I said it again, and then explained how CD works etc and it showed me that she was interested in learning more.

Taking Elders Out of their Comfort Zone; The Little Room
by TMS inin the mid-90's my wife faced a bogus charge of gossiping.
the charge was based on a fleshly sister of a jw easedropping on a conversation.
we fought the charge with the elders unable to produce any credible report of the actual conversation.
