I believe that somewhere hidden in our subconscious we all hold the ability to heal ourselves, emotionally, physically and spiritually, some will tap in to it others have to complete the journey they are on before they are healed.Currently I am still on that journey, struggling with diabetes but hopefully I will find that spot soon

Can psychic energy heal?
by kenpodragon inrecently i was watching a documentary on this woman who claimed that she could heal people with the power of her mind.
the documentary went into interviewing people about their experiences, and many of them actually had medical signs of improvement that could be documented and shown.
while watching this, i was seeing it as a example of psychic energy healing someone?

Discrediting Credibility - Telling Stories Safely
by Celtic init has long appeared to me that some here within this community and possibly lurkers too might find this forum a toally unsafe platform upon which to let their personal stories be told for fear of attack, disbelief or other derogatory and unsavoury comments, even on behalf of those ones who really should know better.. now, why is it these days, and i'm sure i'm not the only one who experiences this, that i feel that i do not want to tell publicly my full personal story and/or experience relating to upbringing with the jw's?
why am i fearful of attack?
why am i fearful of disbelief?

Ok...I must not quite be understanding this thread...help me. I don't post that often but do keep up with the happenings on the board. Celtic says this thread has nothing to do with the thread about the suicide, which I might add my condolences for it is so sad for a young life to be taken. But in my opinion (which may not mean much) I can see why Six and others would be questioning credibility after the post was made and then everyone interrogated for spreading the horrible news and going to media afterall this is a public forum everyone can see these posts. After some of the recent events such as a poster apparently scamming money and then attacking others to apparently cover his tracks I think other posters do have the right to be suspicious when something doesn't seem quite right. Just my 2 cents, I am not accusing or trying to provoke.

"Were any of them Witnesses?"
by kenpodragon init was a typical night at the local kingdom hall.
people were coming in and visiting, looking for seats and laying down publications to mark where they would sit.
people were shaking hands, and the conversation was mixed.

Armageddon and Jehovah's Witnesses?
by kenpodragon inbefore you read the following.
i would like to explain that i in no way hold the jehovah's witness beliefs, so please read the complete thought to fully understand my point.
i looked at all these people that were elders, pioneers, and strong witnesses and figured i did not measure up.

Hi Darren...
Welcome and Congrats on your engagement. I also married a witness and was never accepted by his family. I converted became a witness, even pioneered and guess what...they still didn't like me.
You might possibly want to let your fiance' see some things on this board to kind of give her a feel for the witnesses.Just always assure her that it isn't her that they don't like. I know thats hard after being in the situation myself, I always felt that there was something wrong with me.
Good Luck to You Both!
PS...Now that I am divorced from the witness and no longer a witness.....they really don't like me

Immune to shunning
by Vivamus inif that is the appropriate word for it.
i was walking towards the postal office, and i wasn't really paying attention to my surroundings.
and all of a sudden i stopped dead in my tracks, cause i was in collision course with another human being.

I kind of witnesses just the opposite of this the other day,my husband and I took my stepson into the ER, he had fallen off of his bike and busted his lip...anyway while we were registering I looked up and caught eyes with a ms and his wife from the hall I used to attend. The wife looked at me and smiled and I said hello. She started to say hello and I guess she then remembered I was DF so she put her head down and walked by really quickly. She seemed to really be rattled by this, it was kind of funny actually for a grown woman to act like that.

Terrorists get 70 Virgins in Heaven?
by Lin ini heard on the radio this morning that the terrorists believed that once they got to heaven, they each would be given 70 virgins to enjoy for all eternity.
hmmmm, i wonder how long it took the terrorists to figure out virgins in heaven aren't all females!
