drinking wine in the Kingdom

something jumped out at me that i never paid attention to while reading further into matt 26...in vs 28, he tells them his blood is to be poured out for the many for forgiveness of sin.

but note vs 29 but i say to you: i will no menas drink again any of this product of the vine until that day when i drink it new with you in the kingdom of my father.

cross reference luke 22:18 for i tell you , from now on, i will not drink again from the product of the vine until the kingdom of god comes.. what is the point of all of this: matt 26:29 " i drink it new with you " mark 14:25 " drink new in the kingdom of god.

In fulfillment of Psalm 69 Jesus drinks of the fruit of the vine at the cross. It is the fourth and last cup of the Passover seder.

The hyssop brings back to mind how the blood of the lamb was brushed onto the doorposts on the first Passover.

Am I being unreasonable in this ?

hi friend`s ,i have my son and dil living with us ,which has been ok,overall ,quite a few years now ,however ,a few months ago they decided they wanted a dog ok ?

we had one a toy poodle for about 16-17 years and i just loved her as did my wife.. a few months ago my son wanted a dog and got a french bulldog as a pup ,which was ok by us .. however to cut a long story short, yesterday i was out in the back yard and the dog lunged at me and started attacking me in such a way as i can only describe as being frenetic in his attack ,in trying to ward off his attack and getting away from him i fell over and i believe if my son hadn`t finlly restrained him he would have mauled me .

i am 83 years old and my wife has just turned 80. and i dont want that to happen to her .. i don`t know the dog is what 4-5-6 months old i`m not sure , and been living with us all this time ,however i`m going to tell them to get that dog out of my house by the week and and a half or i will one way or another .. i am not going to tolerate that in my household and if he don`t like it he can go also .. i`m not being unreasonable am i ?

Smiddy, you did the right thing. That dog can't be trusted. Either they get rid of the dog or can find somewhere else to be with their dog but you should feel safe in your own home.

Elohim can mean more than the one Almighty God, the Son is Elohim like the other sons of God, read psalm 82.

It is like in English when you say the Administration. Well there is only one CEO Almighty. Not all members of an administration are the same person, but all are administrating, and running things. Not all members of the Board are the one same person, but all are members of the one same Board.

The OT is henotheistic not monotheistic. There are many Elohim, but no Elohim is the Father except the Father, the only one who comes close is the Son, the spokesman for the Father. They can both wield their administrative power through the Spirit. The Board is a Divine Council.

Search for Michael Heiser and the Divine Council for some good insight into what the Hebrew text says about Elohim.

1. Hour Requirement for Regular Pioneers: As soon as possible, the body of elders

should assign two elders to meet with the regular pioneers in the congregation to read to

them the announcement for regular pioneers. The two elders should use this opportunity to

commend, offer encouragement, and share practical suggestions as the pioneers resume a

full schedule in the ministry.

FOR SECRETARIES AND SERVICE OVERSEERS

1. Review of Regular Pioneers’ Field Service Activity: In June 2023, please review the

field service activity of all regular pioneers. If it is evident that a pioneer does not have a

practical schedule or the circumstances to meet the hour requirement, the service overseer

and group overseer should meet with him and kindly but frankly discuss his circumstances.

This will be an opportunity to provide the pioneer with practical suggestions and appropriate

assistance.

If you read it with a WT spiritual worship filter in mind you see that it's saying only Jehovah's Servants, that's the anointed JWs who are the FDS and they go find the other sheep non-anointed ones to teach them WT doctrines.

For #2, I'd like to add that the WT teaches that Jesus is the Word and "a god" with a lower case 'g' and thus fit into the category of henotheists.

They see Almighty God as Jehovah and that Jesus was the first creation by God.

Sort of like modern form of Arianism.

They regard Satan, the Devil, as the god of this world and system of things.

Jesus has been entrusted by His Father, God Almighty, with the power to defeat Satan and usher in the Kingdom of Heaven, where he with 144000 chosen and Holy Spirit anointed JWs will reign from over the Earth for a thousand years.

To explain these teachings they have a scripture chain of proof texts taken out of context from the Bible and written about ad nauseam in their huge production of literature, audio and video training materials.

I don't think Revelation nor Ezekiel, nor Daniel point to homosexuality as a leading cause of End Times events. So to me your post sounds more like bare naked and blatant homophobia perhaps due to some suppressed sexual inclinations and fantasies, leading to these wild speculations, long JohnTron7. Do you still have to pummel your body over same sex attractions? Reflecting on that may help.
