  Best media covered abuse case?

  i was hopeing to get a really dramatic case of child abuse, where the wts policies are clearly shown to have made the issue worse.

  it would be preferable to have a victim's name and picture to associate with the case.. i'm wanting to have a good reference that shows the human impact that i can show to people.. thanks..

  ...have a good relationship with family members that leave.. i've posted about my family before, but this is going to be it.

  and sorry in advance if i ramble or am unclear, that often happens when deal with this painful topic.. i want to make some clarity.

  i am mostly sure that when i ultimately present them with the facts, and the reality, of how much what they are doing is damaging our lives, they will take a defensive position.

  How important are your non-witness in-laws and friends?

  i guess i'm hoping to hear others experiences about their in laws, post being-a-witness.

  i was raised a witness, left at 21, my life a bit of a shambles.

  my family all turned on me, and i basically had nothing, not even a past, as we were forbidden to have a life outside the witnesses, which included relatives, school people, etc.

  Is there a better way to convince family?

  i've been thinking about this a lot.

  i think a lot of people are like me (especially after researching the witnesses via sources like this board), in that they attempt to convince their family, weather directly or indirectly, that the wts is wrong.

  while there is a possibility of this working, the chances seem small, at least for dyed in the wool witness families.

  i recently got an e-mail from my brother.

  there were pictures of his kids and wife, visiting my ageing parents.

  my wife was excited to see recent pictures.
