  My good friends, I didn't mean to sound like I was unloved.

  It was really the guy from Saturday Night Live that happened to pop into my head and wondered if he was raised a JW. lol

  I think that you have things a little mixed up . I think that you have unconditional love and condoning of wrongdoing in the same category. They are not the same.

  If you are in the org. it seems that you are loved as long as you conform to belief. I'm not talking about going out and whopping it up I am talking about not being loved when you disagree with something. If you don't play the game by the rules. The rules being you are not allowed to think unless you are told what to think.

  I am not asking for an excuse for sin, I am asking for some room not to turn away from Jehovah but to try and establish a relationship with him. Something I have never been able to accomplish as a JW. I have always been so busy worrying about the org that I haven't stopped to worry about Jehovah. They are not the same.

  Feeling So Alone

  stopped here at the library to post this, on my way to the book study.

  I hope when you read these post you will be feeling better.
  I am also having the same feelings. Wanting to do what is right and afraid if you walk away it will be the wrong decision.
  My fear is that if my doubts are wrong that it will affect my daughter. I am very close to her and shudder to think of the consequences. I know that whatever happens is going to affect her.
  It just isn't fair that no matter what you do, stay in and be miserable or leave and be judged as not having love for Jehovah it is going to affect others.
  I told my mother of my doubts she took it well, I think she has known for a long time the struggle I have. She did have to throw the knife and say that I was very spiritually sick. She is a regular pioneer and lives for the truth. She is probably blaming it on my prozac.
  Troubled, you are by no means alone there is unconditional love here being a JW that is something we really know NOTHING about.
  Whatever you decide you will be accepted. What a different thought. You need to think about things before you act on any impulse. My Dr. put me on an anti-depressant and it does help.
  I think that the studies of JW's and depression are so true. I think that the depression stems from knowing there is something missing. It is like a constant mourning of a death. I had to realize it was me that was dying in order to start coping with it. We don't fit in the truth. We are not suppose to fit in with the world so where do we turn for support? You have already figured that out, you are here with so many that have or are going through the same thing.

  he would have done much good in the Organization. Because of his own stubborness, he is now out and has no control over the Watchtower.

  By this statement you are implying that (a man) can have control over the org. If it was Jehovah's org. and truly spirit directed by Jehovah then no man or men would be in control, Only Jehovah would. Jehovah doesn't need men. Men need Jehovah.

  Thank you everyone for your replies.
  I went as far as going to the library to check it out, they didn't have it. I haven't ordered it yet because deep down I too know it will be the nail in the coffin. I don't know what will hurt more, knowing or not knowing. It just seems too simple to just have faith and love. What about all the commands we are given? (letting the good news be know, not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together)
  did that all end with the first century Christians? I have no loyalty to the org. I don't think I ever have. Maybe if they weren't in the picture I may have not done so many stupid things out of spite. I feel a great loss, not for the org. but for my life and so many things lost. You guy's are great. Thanks for posting.
