  this is brief because family members have asked that i remain low-key for the present when on public forums regarding this specific case.

  i have provided greater details in a private forum.. many of you may recall my justice series on h20 where i dealt with the issue of pedophiles among jws, often drawn from my experience as an elder.

  while serving as an elder i did object to the failure of elders to report pedophiles to the authorities.

  Amazing, thank you so much for sharing with us, because of their coverups there is going to be hell to pay as you said. These men are so quilty, I have met some truly offensive and sickening elders but covering molestations that has to the sickest on a grand scale. Hope they pay dearly for their dirty hearts.

  What emotions this org. which is supposed be motived by love, has left on all of us and our children now that some ofem are older and can understand a bit more. Love never entered into the picture, I just never saw it for what it was. But to them as it was for me at the time, their growth all over the world in such fast numbers , only proved it had gods backing. Which sadly we see it did not. Being able to celebrate hoidays, such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. Visiting other faiths. Just being sorry for sinning and not being disfellowshiped, and the doing away of shunning members. While I was in the hospital last week I overheard these two sisters saying they wished they could celebrate Mothers day. For me I always wanted to celebrate my childrens birthdays. My pride and joy each year of their precious lives should have been a yearly celebration, just my thoughts. nojw

  Yep.... its 15 years for us here also. No phone calls, no letters, no visiting, total shunning. Wish they had a chapter in the truth book on what happens when this happens to you. But honestly how many of us would have come in to this cult after reading how family ties are severed, shunning etc. I mean if you are going to publish a book called the ( truth book) add that slimy chapt. nojw

  i copied my reply from the "can you confirm this wt quote" thread because i wanted to highlight the need to be careful when talking to jw relatives.. it all started out as a joke for my jw brother.

  for 7 years, since i left the wts, i've kept silent about what i've found out about the wts to prevent my losing contact with him and his family.. i sent him an email the other day jokingly wondering if he was going to stop preaching since the 20th century is over, included in the email was the wt quote from 1-1-89. he emailed me back, saying that he looked it up and it said "our generation".

  i replied by saying that the quote was changed because of the screw up.

  Mr Bowen , my hats off to you. Expose the wt for what they think they stand for. They are unclean, liars, full of untruths, I myself am doing what I can to expose them on a small scale but every little bit helps. regards, nojw
