A sickening example of religious vampirism

It is a great story.

BTW, I met Cassie classmate who came to our Church. She was with Cassie when the shooting began, I am sorry to say her story is true, not just an urban legand.

Even though the story is in the extreme, we all have to make a choice to accept Christ or not. The decsion if you accept Jesus will effect you eternal future, and is one to consdier and choose wisely.

I studied other relgions and other way came back to only answer: Jesus. It is not religion which saves you but your faith in Jesus.

granted, many/most of the participants on this board have been wronged by jehovahs witnesses (either by elders, the governing body, the policies or the unnatural discipline).

many have also been wronged by their government, their parents, their peers and their relatives.

we are all victims.

It is one of the reason I started my club. As far as I saw most XJWS where whiners and Complainers. Many were into lifestyles and practices which Df was justified.

I understand my board is a Chrsitian Based Club which is described as a Conservative Chrsitian, mostly Born-Again. I try to focus of the victim and try move the person on to victory.

When look back at my JWS years there were a few things which happen out of my experices with teh Wt. Most decision were in my life were myne. My decsion were influnced by the beliefs of the JWS. I have to accept responsibilty for my life choices in or out of JWS.

Now younger workers are today more savvy aobut how stocks works. So younger peiople who not even save towards retirement when given the oppurtunity to will be down right stupid.

The greatest paln by the Goverment ever done is for those who will be entiled to Social Security a statement every year if you were to retire today this is how much you will get.

I lived of SS for 10 years being disabled. No way I am not invsesting towards my retirement. That is why I seek out wise financial advice.

Beside our 401k we have personal savings outside of it. Yes a safe investment my hubby and I put into every week.

I don't think the Goverment should be bailing these guys out or else they have to bail out all Companies who went bankrupt with employee 401Ks.

Folks I will quote Rush limbaugh on his show today, "In the history of the world can you find where the peiople are happy when the Goverment supplies all thier needs?"

but i thought it was such a great idea, i figured why the hell not?

so i went up to the local office depot, where you can buy ink stamps that you set the letters yourself.

I have a magentic sign in the back of my car for my webpage. I have had 2 times where XJWS want me to pull over to talk with them.

My sign was only 10.00 but it is very effective in the back of my car. I can just imagine when a JW car group is right behind me reading it.

You are right, most Enron employess knew the stcok was going down long before the lock down. Yet many not onlyheld on but bought stock. This was brought out on the Today show this moring.

I also had a friend who invested his life savings into Lucnet. He loved it when it was riding high. He did not do his own reseach and lost most of his life savings when it came down. Then he complained aobut how he did not only sell, but did not difersify.

No one personwhould put thier life savings into company stock, most offer choices of differnt styles of risk for investor.

We all should have one investment which will give us enternal rewards:

We should Belive in Jesus. Unlike Enron, stck or anything monetary inlife ourt Fatih in Jesus will not go unrewarded. It may seem so at the moment, but in the end he does not forget.

So make sure you have an investment in your eternal future today. If you don't you will be the only one to blame for where you will wind up.

I did, and you are quite nasty are you not?

SExyteen, I answer your question from Scripture because I felt like many former and Prensent Jehovah's Witnesses did. I felt that preaching the gospel was the work of God for Christians today.

As for preaching Jesus can get the rocks to do it for him. I researching a pasage, and came across this. In teh same passage you can also find Jesus when directly asked aobut the Will of God his answer was still the same as the work of God.

I am going to give it to you straight from Jesus.

Did you know the Apsotles asked the same question to Jesus. In the passage of Scripture I am going to quote, jesus just told them to work for the food that does not persih:

"Therefore, they said to him: "What shall we do to work the works of God."-John 6:28. Here the disiples are asking Jesu a straight question, Jesus gave thema a straight answer, "In answer Jesus said to them: "This is the work of God, that you exercise faith in him whom that one sent forth."-John 6:29 Bottom line Jesus is to put faith in him, not all the preaching work, field service, meeting etc.

Now the preaching to the Gospel, it is a divine comission, not the work of God.

the u.s. government is returning john walker to the states for trial.

what do you consider an appropriate punishment for his mis-deeds?.

i think, he should be[if found guilty]stipped of his citizenship and returned to somewhere in the mideast to spend the rest of his life,with no possibility to return to the u.s. for any reason.

i am not saying ti was Pic nic, I am saying he would be better off.

Common sense would dictate not too many 18year old Anmericans would be sponsered by an ARab-Muslim extereme group in fact they would accept him him for his parents cash flow.

It may be dort cheap, I don;t think ARab Muslims took care of him I think they fleeced him to tell you the truth.
