The Greek pro·phe'tes literally means "a speaker

and thus describes a proclaimer, one who makes known messages attributed

a predictor of the future, the fundamental meaning of the word is not that of

requires that the individual know what Jehovah's revealed purposes for the future
are so that he may bring his ways, desires, and goals into line with the divine will.
Hence, in the great majority of cases, the Biblical prophets did convey messages that

Do bethelites get social security?
by sleepy ini was just wondering you know whether in bethel workers get credited with whats called in britian national insurance.. in britian you carnt miss six years of payment and expect a full goverment pension which isn't much anyway.also you cant claim full income support , sickness benifit or job seekers allowence if you have missed or underpaid you ni.. this came to mind as my wife worked for a company that didn't pay contributions for her .. when latter on she lost her job the goverment wouldn't pay her any job seekers allowance as no ni contributions were credited for that year.. so does bethel pay ni contributions for bethelites and circuit overseers and the like.

what job could you have had?
by sleepy inhi i've just come home from cleaning windows.what an absolutely soul destroying job.. when i think of the things i could have done.. i remmember how my teachers in school used to tell me i would surely go to university and get a good job.i remmember the shock on one teachers face a few years after i left school when i told her i was a window cleaner.. i was also intrested in art and quite good at it.my grandfather who wasn't a witness offered to help me and my brother get good jobs in the art world.. we turned him down.. arrmegeddon was so soon.. anyone else like me ?.

I pioneered and cleaned stores in my old hometown..I remember I would be so emabarassed as the kids I went to school with would come home from college on a break...I applied and was accepted to bethel..left after a few years...I knew I couldnt go back to that hick town...i stayed in new york working for ups as a package handler..i remeber walking through mid town and see all the wall streeters and hip cats with their money..I decided to enroll in a tech school, with mixed reaction from my elders. one thought it was great...the others thought I would suffer spiritually......as I worked through school I missed plenty of meetings.i was bustin my ass..always getting weird stares from the elders...wondering if I would me removed as an m.s......now I am out and a network engineer for a multi-national...and still no armageddon...hahaha.........excuse me as i prepare my instruction talk

Suggestions, please re ``placing'' free COCs
by Room 215 ina friend and i have come across a quantity of crisis of conscience in like-new condition, both english and italian editions.
we're in a quandary as to how to make best use of them.
we were thinking of donating them to the libraries or to perhaps cut a deal wth a local christian book store.

a bathrobe...invite the brother to come in alone ...sit him
on your couch..proceed to disrobe and unzip his pants...and
go to work...it is especially helpful if you have a lesbian
partner to help out...i suggest you all try this method..now excuse me as i get my service bag ready
