Cofty I believe this will back fire on the left big time. My gripe about Lloyd Evans is he is an opportunist and not a good one at that. He comes across to me that he would slit his mother open if he thought she swallowed a penny. He just grubs and grubs for money and puts out a lot of junk to try to keep it going. Which I don't get because when you come out for either liberal or conservative you have ticked off around half of your following. He is never going to be anything int he black lies murder movement and he is slipping in his one shtick of analyzing the JWs. I was wondering what he was going to do once this died down a bit. He seems to have never actually had a job where he had to put in a hard days work.

Not sure how that would even play into it. I unsubscribed from his channel and am done. I will get my JW news here and a few other places. He has become a money grubbing gold digger and would parrot any talking points he thinks would gain him a donation.

LOL He would hold it up when giving a talk thinking it proved that a global flood happened.This is ignorance of tectonic plate activity. What is not high mountains are actually newer developed ranges as they have not had a lot of time to erode. Ranges like the smokey mountains are older having eroded away some. Mountains were once sea beds having pushed up by the moment and crashing of tectonic plates. Its not a sign that the earth was once covered by water.

Would Watchtower Ever Risk Setting Another Date
by Number 6 inthere was a 50 year gap between the failed dates of 1925 and 1975.. memories fade, people die, and who cares what was said 50 years ago.. most jw's now in the religion werent there when 1975 was a thing.
even my mother who was baptized in 1974 who i do remember speaking about it back in the day, can barely remember what the fuss was about.
for active jw's who are doing all there studying online now, its practically impossible to find any wt contemporary reference to 1975.. i read recently (sorry i cant source it right now) that at the time, even watchtower may have taken the view that even if they knew 1975 was wrong, the short term gains would far outstrip those who left leading to an overall net gain so it was a risk worth taking.
