December 25th for Christmas from Paganism?

i know i've heard this a lot...that the december 25th date for christmas was borrowed from paganism.

i just came across this article which argues against that:.

I think instead of sending a reader to some other place you should give an explanation in a nutshell what that article is about and then Im could decide should I go there or not.

Christmas is a total denial of the True Christianity. Christ was not born on December 25th. And you can see how early people begin celebration of Christmas like the first day after Thanksgiving or even earlier.

Back many years when I was in Poland the christmas carols were first sung in the evening on Christmas Eve ; not in November like in the USA.

Santa Claus is in place of God the Father which is a horrible offence against God of the Bible who is theTrue Giver of good things .Only God is good ! It is a dfifferent story to celebrate the birth of Jesus like it is given in the Bible when he was born or soon after he was born.

If someone becomes a true christian they should lead a holy life each and every day . This way each and every day of a year is a holy day to them.

when christ talks about turning the other cheek, witnesses talk about why the faithful should shun anyone that doesn't see eye to eye with them.

the jewish religious leaders were condemned by christ for their biases.. why do jehovah's witnesses treat disfellowshipped ones as if they were "dead"?

They are a distinctive organization in such a degree which makes them the most acceptable to God Yahweh if we understand the Bible accurately. You don't have to go thousands of miles to learn the truth as you are on the forum on which I had wrote posts that explain how Jehovah's Witnesses and their predecessors the International Bible Students fit nicely into the end time pattern.

You remove them from the scene there is no other christian group to put in place !

Most christian denominations are not truly christan . It is easy to prove that in the present time when the secrets kept from mankind for ages are being uncovered .Daniel 12.4 is being fulfilled right before our eyes but you evidently does not know that . I am writing so as an outsider as I don't belong to the Jehovah Witness organization. With the views I have , and they are a great deal different , I could try to establish a new christian organization and yet I cannot in view of many discoveries from the Bible that promote Jehovah's Witnesses.

Not you but me could have points to make to stay away from Jehovah's Witnesses as I offer a new doctrines that are reasonably in agreement with the Bible. It is a good way out ;it's not like many those who left the Jehovah Witness organization after the failed 1975 prediction and have nothing good to offer to a soul searching for the truth. They left the frying pan right into the fire.

If you attack Jehovah's Witnesses you must have a new set of doctrines based on the Bible that are acceptable to those who want to be happy forever ,not just in this present time being freed from what ? And going with the crowd where ?

Whatever contradictions or misunderstandings they still hold firm the first position among all christian churches.If you know the endtime chronology I have been giving they are secured in God's plan as acceptable .

You would have to provide another christian group if you disqualify Jehovah's Witnesses.

with a population near 13,000,000,that would mean a membership of 2.6 million people.. how do pentecostals convert so many people?

Islam is known to be the fastest growing religion in the world and so what ? Should we follow the crowd and join that religion which is contrary to the Bible ?

Pentecostal church is one of many religions that widens the sole authority of the Bible and thusly is a rebellious religious organization.

Harold Camping could tell you the same .We must stick to the Bible as the only divine authority and recognize God does't give any further inspired messages or miracles once the Bible had been completed.

On this one lone principle we can refute most christian religions, including the most populous catholic religion that has hundreds of millions of adherents today.
The end-time message is that all who want to be saved should leave behind their denominational churches which are most christian churches.

for example, a christian could not simply believe that jesus was a compassionate man could he?

christ must be accepted as being divine either as part of a trinity or at least as the son of god.. must a christian believe that the miracles of jesus as recorded in the bible are actual events or can they be accepted as allegory?must a christian believe that "all scripture is inspired of god"?jesus is said to separate the sheep from the goats - can you be a christian without accepting that jesus will kill all the goats?there seems to be so much about christ that many christians are simply too uncomfortable to discuss.

This has to be a special secret set of doctrines unkown for ages by men that points clear which religion is right in God's eyes and which one is not . Most christian religions are heading for disaster as the Bible teaches.You have to deal with the most complex set of rules which make a given religious organization right while other is rejected.

You have to prove the Bible is applicable in our times .This is a very difficult process unknown for centuries.

Prove me ,for instance , that the letters by Paul addressed to Corinthians are directed to people in our times.

We are to search for the truth in the Bible as Isaiah 28.9-10 prescribes and every word counts in the Bible . Jesus gave numerous statements on how the end of the world was going to come and read Matthew 24.3-31 .The Book of Revelation would not have been included in the Bible if we were not to know the times of the end of the world.

Matthew 24.48-50 read people carefully and you must reconcile these words with Matthew 24.36. There is an apparent contradiction which understood correctly is not a contradiction.

common objections to celebrating Christmas

i wanted to post this research i did that helped convince my husband a few years back that it was o.k.

to celebrate christmas, despite the objections he was taught by the watchtower.

What are good reasons not to observe Christmas ? I have not been observing it for more than 30 years ! And I am glad because of that depite so many inconveniences and troubles I was able to endure and will endure to the very end. God Yahweh would not allow a person that celebrates Christmas like nations of the darkness to teach what I am teaching about the Bible and soon coming end of the world.The understanding of the Bible is my assurance I am right with God and have a good reason to hope for eternal life .

Using Santa Claus is a mockery of God Yahweh who alone is good as Jesus taught.How good it is that the time is so near that celebrations of the Christmas in a form as we see it today will be rooted out of the face of the earth .

Read my posts on this forum I am proving there is no better organization on the face of the earth like Jehovah's Witnesses. If you criticize it tell me which one better .You have to do it to give a solution for those who want to worship in gatherings. I am not saying Jehovah's Witnesses are right in everything but they are better off as compared with any other religious organization on our earth. This is not the point they err but that they err less than any other religiuos organization. If so by this virtue alone they stand first in line to be recognized by God of the Bible as the true christian organization.

Whatever your religiuos status it must be in accordance with God's plan of salvation .I showed by using Luke 9.49-50 that only remnant class of 144000 servants are acceptable to God Yahweh and we must search for those where are they found .It is one small class of united servants and one seperate independent servant who is not against that one small identified group.And the timeline I am giving helps us to identify those people and through them God Yahweh leads the nations to Jesus Christ in a saving manner.

If you read my posts well I am predicting the end of the evil world order in 2011 AD. The chances are good it may happen but doesn't have to as we today rely on the understanding of the Bible and can make mistakes . It is a responsibility of each ane everyone how much he takes the prediction into heart.More you read the Bible and my explanations of the Bible you have a good chance to agree with me we have a good reason to believe the end of the world should come very soon ,not earlier than 2011 AD .

Note in your diagram you gave on the post 33 % as the percentage of the Christian believers among the world population. Since I have identified who true christians are in the end times and their number is relatively small when we speak about 1/3 ( 33% that is to suffer horrible plagues at the end times we set apart those true christians and the 1/3 still remains in place.

By destroying most christians at the end of the world those who will be saved will witness the indirect distruction of the most christian religions.Those who take part in those false religions must be removed from the face of the earth.

Have you heard of Harold Camping ? He is a very gifted preacher on the radio and is also predicting the year 2011 AD his own unique way. He tells people to leave their churches to avoid the annihilation.

I am much of the same view but make exceptions ! You read my posts and find one on how I am explaining this matter .

It seems you have not read my posts on this forum at all or ignored them. Only true christians who belong to the class of 144000 may predict the end of the world. Have you read of those predictors who made predictions and did they claim they were one of those 144000 ?

The true christianity ended at the latest in 150 AD. And it was to be restored at the end times. You were not living in the period 150 AD - 1878 AD to check out those predictors if their teachings were consistent with the Bible . We can make assumptions or guesses and I can do them to disqualify any prediction up to the year 1878 AD.

So , we can start with the year 1878 AD and from that date we can examine predictions of the end of the world .But first you must prove the Bible is for our times.It is extremely difficult as I can reason to prove you that all Holy Scriptures applied to the people living up to the year 106 AD or 70 AD and there are reasons if I want to prove my point that the revelations from God Yahweh ended and the miracles that accompanied them. The true christian were in direct contact with God Yahweh and worked miracles .No one works such miracles today it may be because the true christianity ended centuries ago !

You looked at wrong places to find the right answers to the issue of predictions. World sees predictions in a distorted manner.

I wrote many posts on the internet regarding the end time and predictions of the end of the world.

You have to find if a person making prediction does so in accordance with God's plan. Just as we look for the true christian religion among many the same we look for a person that makes the prediction if it is well founded on the Bible.

You mentioned that guy from New Mexico who predicted this year as the year of the end of the world buy who is he to do so ? Does he has religious views better than Jehovah's Witnesses have ? Where is he standing with God Yahweh in His time plan ?

How he explains the Book of Revelation etc . Many factors must be taken into account.This requires a great deal of research on a part of those who want to know the Truth .
