people resurrected not able to marry

can someone provide the societys view on whether resurrected are not able to marry.

it has been over 10 years since i was active and i at the time if i remember correctly the society said they would not.

if anyone knows whether they flip floped on this either would be great.

Just go to a google group alt.religion.jehovahs-witn and I wrote on this subject. Once you loacte my latst post there it is about sexual relations in the Paradise , try to retreive my earlier posts as well by clicking on " more options" and then on " find messages by this author .

By the way I know that according to Jehovah's Witnesses those who will be living on earth will be able to marry . Only those who will go to heaven will not be in physical marriages .

The point is that all saved humans will be able to have sexual intimacy in the Paradise in the marriages. Psalm 128 refutes the view hold by Jehovah's Witnesses . Each fearing God servant will be blesssed with wife and children.

Matthew 22.30 is a parable as per Matthew 13.11,34-35.

Those who try to imply that there are texts in the Bible that were taken from pagan religions are ignorant not knowing what does it mean the Bible is inspired of God Yahweh.

We have words of Satan quoted in the Bible and yet the fact his words were included in the Bible is the inspiration from God . All words that are in the Bible are God's Words .

The fact that God directed his servants to include the words of Satan make these words inspired aftera Satan spoke these words.

The date 537 BC was confirmed by my calculations.It is linked to Cyrus in some important way .

2492 BC + 1955 years = 537 BC . 2492 BC - Genesis 6.3 .

29 AD - 33 AD - 36 AD is a period linked to Jesus Christ and his first disciples.

2429 AD + " 7 times " as 2520 years ( + 2520 days ) = 29 AD - 36 AD.

29 AD - 33 AD - 36 AD + 1955 years = 1984 AD - 1988 AD - 1991 AD .

537 BC + " 7 times " as 2520 years ( + 2520 days ) = 1984 AD - 1988 AD - 1991 AD.

Oh common man ! Finally you need to get real and enlist in some college course on organizations: how do they function in adverse circumstances .

Read the books on revolution in Russia in 1917 AD and the times that followed.

When you have a surrounding of many opossing religions who are rich and have access to tv and radio how would you keep your organization intact in such adversities ?

Jehovah's Witnesses are the only true christian organization and all other are trying to undermine them by all means and to keep the whole organization the Watchtower must be strict very much with no slightest disagreements allowed .

If you were in Red Russia when Stalin lived and opposed a bit you might have been executed !

The Watchtower doesn't execute anyone for a dissent .

In medieval age you would have been burned on stake by disagreeing with Roman Catholic Church.

The Watchower is in the worse situation .You don't like what they teach leave them alone .

I don't agree with many things they teach, and yet defend them if you only carfefully read my posts

Just as the first christians were considered in the eyes of unfaithful Jews as a sect ( a cult ) - Acts 28.22.This has to be the same in our times if our times are really the endtime era . We must have a repetition of what had happened before when true christianity existed.

You should read some book on how an organization functions . If there is a remnant of say 7000 people would you like all these to be in the board of directors in the organization or rather 7 people would be enough ?

What determines the remnant is God's chosen few is that they are to teach and through them nations come to God Yahweh by faith in Jesus Christ.

The latest understanding of the Bible is a new light as we can witness Daniel 12.4,9 in the fulfillment in our days.

The chosen 144000 are all menservants of God Yahweh and Jesus Christ. There must be a remnant of them in the very endtime as Matthew 24.45-46 implies .They are feeding their flock. Luke 9.49-50 allows for one independent servant to coexist with the one small united group of servants.

Notice that not a single woman should be among 144000 menservants. And most likely we are today close to the 7000 left of that class of 144000 men .The list was closed with the 11th hour which was 1984 AD -1991 AD counting from 1914 AD ; each hour as 7-year period.

If you don't belong to Jehovah's Witnesses the only possibility left is to be in line with that one single independent servant which must be identified using proper calculations based on the Bible.

1914 AD - 1918 AD - 1921 AD belongs to the International Bible Students who began building the Ark of Salvation in the endtimes.

Then we have 1935 AD - 1939 AD - 1942 AD for Jehovah's Witnesses and then is the period : 1984 AD -1988 AD -1991 AD for a single independent servant .This is the 11th hour in the schedule as below :

1914 AD-1921 AD-1928 AD-1935 AD-1942 AD-1949 AD-1956 AD-1963 AD-1970 AD-1977 AD-1984 AD-1991 AD-1998 AD .

Just as we move our clocks for one hour we can add one year to 1998 AD and get 1999 AD.

i have often thought the award should go to dwight eisenhower.

from a religion that railed against politics and warfare he first invaded western europe and then went on to become president of the united states.

There might be some exceptions but my feeling is that most that left the organization after the failed date 1975 could be the biggest rebel collectivelly speaking . They lost all way of religious life as if they were now the atheists ,enemies of studying the Bible , they live awkward lives and I would not wish to be in their shoes for a moment .This is my impression I am getting .

given that wt doctrine holds that jah is not omnipresent, and jesus is of course just a lowly angel who doesn't even have "holy spirit" at his disposal let alone omnipresence, how can it be said they are "present invisibly" at the meetings?.

since they are not omnipresent and can't be at every meeting, how can it be said that by not attending meetings jws are "snubbing them"?.

Since we live in the endtimes we should expect the best understanding of the Bible the closer we get to the very end - Daniel 12.4,9 .

God Yahweh is the only true God as Jesus said in John 17.3 . God of Jesus and Israel fills up the whole universe which means literally He is present everywhere always .Every particle of the universe is being sustained by that Wonderful God . Every snowflake ,raindrop He creates and guids to the earth ! How many of them in just one spot when we look ! This is God I am serving !

So God penetrates all places ,all bodies be it believers or atheists and yet we read in the Bible God lives in those who worship Him in truth.

That must be an arrangement most people don't understand . God made many arrangements we must look for in His Word the Bible.The words like God used in the Bible must be read in the proper light of the Bible .

Once you properly understand the Bible you will know that Yahweh is GOD but Jesus is God and these two are different and thanks to English language I could express that difference by making distinction in writing these two words.

If Jehovah's Witnesses are true christian religion there must be God present there and Jesus Christ as some verses from the Bible could be used to prove that . John 14.23 is a beautiful example God and Jesus abide in true christians . And we must simply identify who are those true christians . If a religion is not accepted by God then we can say God Yahweh and Jesus are not present there .

Jesus is not GOD but God and it has spiritual meaning just as Jesus is adopted son of God - the first one of the New Testament so can be called the Son as the sign of distinction. And God Yahweh can do all things for him what Jesus asks so Jesus can know what he wants to know .This way he can know all things but not all at once as he is a human being perfected once for all the time .

saturday, december 27, 2008why can't i be a jehovah's witness?in reflecting on my time as a jw, one thing that elders and circuit overseers would frequently say is: "we aren't like other religions.

Salvation is a very complex matter today as we have so many christian religions , each claiming it has the Truth .They cannot be all right .If you think otherwise you would have to prove it by becoming a member of each one; one after another .

With the views I am holding now I would not join any church as I see the things differently .But note if I were to choose which religious organization God Yahweh approves of it would be Jehovah's Witnesses , no doubt about it .Try to find another organization to challenge my statement.

If so 29 AD-33 AD-36 AD = 1914 AD-1918 AD-1921 AD. By superimposing the ancient dates when Jesus and his first disciples were living and taught the true christianity we can trace the time of the revival of that christianity by locating dates appropriately keeping the time spans.

7 BC-29 AD = 35 years =1914 AD ; 2 BC-29 AD = 30 years = 1884 AD-1914 AD .

Jehovah's Witnesses have their own 7-year period as well. If they are the true christianity it has to be so :

1935 AD-1939 AD-1942 AD.

God Yahweh made a wondeful arrangement to prove this is true !

As an independent servant of Yahweh and Jesus Christ (Luke 9.49-50 ) I give testimony to their validity as the true christian organizations.

"They no longer attend meetings"

word has got our that mr. and mrs. truthseeker no longer attend meetings.. we still live in the territory of our old congregation.

instead of taking the time to call us and see how we're doing, the "friends" prefer to talk about us behind our backs, one of whom passed information to my wife's mother (who is a loyal witness) that we do not attend meetings.. just waiting for the ball to drop.. .

.

This is my observation I am getting from what I am reading it could be the punishment from God Yahweh that many of those who left the Jehovahs Witness organization act like they are living in a fantasy land .
