Single DF Sister Looking for Single DF Brother
by Honey inhi everyone - this is my first time posting to this board.. in any event, i am a newly dfd sister (announcement made about a week ago) who is interested in corresponding with and meeting a dfd brother.
adding to my dilemma is the fact that i plan on returning to the organization which i know is the direct opposite of what some on this board want.
i am african american, 34 years of age and attractive.

Best argument against a Jehovah's Witness?
by Happy indon't get me wrong, i'm not one to actively persecute jw's, i'm just wondering what you guys think is the best agrument/point to use when a pesky brother or sister just won't leave you alone.
normally, i am willing to listen to their drivel out of respect (even though i have no respect for the wt) but there are times when i am not in the mood to hear them babble.
i normally bring up the 1914 generation point, and it normally works.

4 questions:
1) Does the WTS claim to be God's sole channel, to be spirit directed, and to speak in God's name?
2) Has the WTS ever made predictions about the future?
3) Have any of these predictions not come true?
4) What is the difference between this and false prophecy?

America/US government...a lying contradiction.
by pomegranate inthose who already walk submissively will say there is no cause for alarm.
but submissiveness is not our heritage.
the first amendment was designed to allow rebellion to remain as our heritage.

Thanks for your thoughtful reply, which considerably illuminates your previous comment.
Is it not possible that people who complain about U.S. policies, and seek to change them, are showing greater love of country than those who simply wave the flag?

You do not know what you are talking about and all of your name calling and/or four letter words will not change that.
What are you saying? That there is no connection between our military adventures abroad and our wasteful, materialistic standard of living? That every foreign involvement was altruistic? Do you have any idea how naive that is?
When I lived in California, I saw undocumented workers treated like crap, picking lettuce and broccoli. Then I went to the store and bought cheap lettuce and broccoli. Which part of that is hard for you to understand? Or do you see no connection?

Often I've heard expressed , that it is the US's moral obligation to help because of our countries wealth.
It's the U.S.'s obligation to help other countries because we've systematically raped other countries to fuel our absurd style of living.
I guess at this point, I wish the US would become isolationist. I would like our government to deport all of the illegal aliens; they come over our borders by the millions, living off of the workers of this country,
You idiot. We live off them. Our food system, for example, depends on cheap labor by undocumented workers. All of our goods and our cheap oil depend on systematic oppression of weaker countries.
Simon, I gotta say, I'm really wishing I could use a certain 4 letter word for copulation right now...

A must read interview of one of the greatest living Americans - Michael Moore. Notice the interview is in a British paper.
