  an elder approached a mate of mine saying that they have to meet up with him soon because he has been baptised a year and it's time for his review?

  anyone has heard of that?

  depressed and starting to loose it

  sooo... it has been a few good months since i started having doubts and started researching.

  now very much convinced i had been lied to and my parents had not done their homework prior being baptised therefore it fucked up my future ... just a bit.

  now also had been going out with a jw girl for 1,5 years... and i am starting to loose it... stuck in a lie, delaying the getting engaged because of my attitude towards religion(she knows i had doubts and always have been anti watchtower - got baptized anyway... stupid me - but she doesn't make a big deal out of it... she is not very strong spiritually) ergo i know i am not fit to be head of the house by jw standards... but i just love her too damn much to break her heart by leaving the organization and ergo leaving her.

  i have posted infrequently here; follow up posts on occasion regarding this book that i have, yet still no takers.

  Is there any chance I could have it? if you want cedars I would send it to you after I have finished reading it if I would get it? I am still an jw just trying to research stuff to... gain knowledge to deal with elders if I have to later on and wanna discover everything I didn't know about this religion.

  one i didn't ask until years after leaving was....who designed disease?

  That's one of the problems I used to have. They say that death and illnesses are a product of our imprefection. But surely... they must have been somehow designed it BEFORE Adam and Eve ate the fruit? Or did it all just appeard out of nothing? Or is God just a sadistic dick who designed all of that and it was released so to speak as soon as they ate the fruit? And if Noah's story is true why have we got all of the diseases going around in this world if there were only 8 people on the boat? or did some of them have crabs and the clap?

  When I was a teen and had an ilness which caused me to be hyper sensitive to light so I couldn't leave my house for 2 months so therefore I was not able to do any ministry and did not report anything. When I finally got back to meetings (no one called or asked what is going on for 2 months - christian love my arse) and elder comes up to me and asks why I did not report anything.. I explained myself and what was his response ? 'Well next time let us elders know and we can take you out when it's dark, or maybe just take an umbrella to protect yourself from sunlight or maybe sunglasses?' at that point I walked off.

  Also multiple occasions when I was unbaptized publisher and opinion or statement of a baptized person was taken over mine even though they were lying.

  And not being able to get batized because I was not out in the ministry with an elder for couple of month. Went through questions and then a week before by supposed batism they come over and announce that they are really sorry but (due to their lack of integrity and stupidity) because they haven't been out with me in the ministry in a long time they can not let me get baptized. I was really close to punching one of them when they came over to me at the assembly he tried to tap me on my arm and called me buddy and started talking some bullshit. My dad noticed my fist slowly rising to deck him and told me to go and talk to mum and defused the situation. Still wish I punched that idiot (elder not my dad)

  i am writing to a mate who has been disfellowshipped couple of months back to make him think about religion as i have heared he started going back to meetings.
