we rented "k-pax" kevin spacey and jeff bridges. excellent movie. Really convincing, give it 5 thumbs up.kevin ends up in bellivue in NYC and bridges is the doc.

if u saw df people socializing with othere df people, u are probably looking at jws who will never make it back.. I challenge u to talk to or better yet, WRITE THE SOCIETY and ask them if it is ok for u to date a df bro since u are df also. I have been jw all my life, and have been df at one time, and honey, the rules arent't getting lighter, they are getting stricter.Did u see the august KM on DF persons? check it out. I know, it seems like u should be able to associate with other df people, but not according ot the wts. really, check this stuff out.

while df , according to jws, u cannot, assciate with other jw, xjw(for sure), other df peopel, ANYONE but your immedate family,( but only those in same household) who may or may not choose to associate with u. U are to spend your time contempalating what go u into trouble to begin with and stay in prayer to gain forgivenss. Any other course, if u tell the elders, will cause them to question your motives.To put it plainly, u are screwed. Until they reinstate u, which could be 6 months, if u go to all the meetings and humble yourself ((keep a downward cast to your eyes-u are a leper remember that)u are cut off form any human contact , except your immediate family, and that is only if they live with u.
My feeling is u have not been a jw too long and did not realize how controlling the jw are. Welcome to reality. u may not believe wht we are telling u, but really all u need do is ask an elder about this. but that will raise a red flag-they will wonder why u did not know this to begin with.
None of us are kidding,try and get reinsted and if u tell them u are dating df person, they will axe u.
jw mafia at its best.
btw, good luck,if u really want to stay a jw, endure the 6 months and be really sorry and then after u are back , try and find a relationship. Of course , any really spiritual bro will be put off that u have been df -that is the real world of jw.Maybe after a few yers of repentance, s spiritual bro will feel u are worthy.

I really believe the wts and the catholic church are responsible for many secrewed up lives. People who are deprived of a natural sexual outlet , often turn to strange ways to satisfy desires, and i am talking about priests involvement with children. After a while . living without sex, people start to behave strangely and they do find outlets for their desire, sometimes directed at the wrong things.
I don't think this is a black female thing, all humans have sexual desires. People should be allowed to marry, in or out to the wts.And people who are in a bad marriage, should not be forced to stay in it, another thing the wts does that is bad.
Honey, sorry for your delima. this board is a nice place to meet people. Lots of people here, all colors, with normal human feelings.
and yes, BTW, it is not ok to aassiciate with DF people if u are trying to get reinstaed Tell that to the elders and see how fast they will NOT reinstate u. I don't agree with this, but it is wt policy.

i seem to be having some problems here. first when i tried play the dub sticks, my windows media player gave me the message that the player had selected a runtime not ok for this file. would not play it. Then when i wnet to page 2 of this thread, my windows player opens automatically and strts to play a song" 032" so i decided to post this and when i got to this page my windows media player opened , but this time it opened with the "big head" and kept popping up.

What was so funny for me , the first 2x i took the test I came up with 100% Mormon. I was answering those questions form my jw point of view. No wonder i was never very good at being a jw-i don't know what they teach-apparently! Also, the afterlife question was hard, b/c there wasnt' a right answer the for the jw theology. Also, i noted they tended to put u with the nochristian groups if u believed on an almighty God, and not the trinity.(i know, there were 2 versions of the trintity.)

Some Advice Please
by QCA1 inthe other day i was on the computer and i moved some files on jws into documents as i was in a hurry,didn't think anymore of it.. my grandsons came over who are jws and joined my son on the computer,my son went into documents and my grandsons saw the files and asked him why i had them, of course my son didn't know quite what to say and he didn't tell me until after they had gone home.
i am worried that they may tell their mum and dad what they saw.
if my son asks me why i have these files what should i say because i need to be careful.my family is everything to me especially my grandchildren.. qca1

This is why i clear my cache, clear history trail before sign off, and go to start and clear documents. U could also put a password on your computer, but that is a lot of trouble.Anyone can use the favorties feature on the browsers and see what u have bookmarked. so it is hard to hide that. What i have done though, is go back and RENAME THE SITE , such as i have this site bookmarked as Discussion, so the casual onlookers would not even wonder about this site. My son keeps my computer running, so i don't worry too much,he isnt' a jw. But he was raised one and i am not ready to get into it with anyone.
So unless your son, grandsons, really checked into the files , chances are they did not see much.I would not expect the worse and don;'t get defensive. Just b/c a site says jw does not mean it is apostate.anyway , how did u know??

A System to STOP the Preaching Work?
by NeonMadman inas i was sitting in my living room staring at my christmas tree the other day, for some reason, my mind turned to a possible way for householders who don't want jw's to call on them to get them to stop once and for all.
i'm not sure whether it would work or not.
now, we know that putting oneself on the "do not call" list doesn't work, because they will continue to call at least once a year to determine whether the householder's "circumstances have changed".

actually i think putting the "no trespassing" and "no jw" signs up may work. thinking back to when i jwas active, i recall, we did heed those warnings and also, if there was a gate, we would often not enter.
