is there any proof whether jws were disfellowshipped for organ transplant, hemodilution, blood fractions, or any other medical procedure that was spoken of negatively in the past, but is now a concience matter?

you know what would be real helpful?

a complete history of each medical treatment that the wt has ruled against at any given time.. i have tried to do the reasearch, but it is hard.. example: the date hemoglobin started being used for medical treatment, when the injections for rh problems started becoming used, when hemophiliac factors (like viii, etc.

) started being used, etc.. it would also be great if all of those dates were backed by a solid reference.. any help?.

Is There A Need For Any Publications Electronically

i know a number of people who would definitely lend me old watchtower publications (booklets, books, etc).. is there a need for any scanned publications?

does anyone know when publications can become public domain?.

Apostolic Decree Just A Recommendation - Russell

just checked out the 4/15 1909 where it says that the acts 15:29 decree was just a recommendation to prevent stumbling.. does anyone know how long the wt held to this belief about the apostolic decree.

when did the wt start saying it was a command?.

i have been trying to find out if the following statement from the wt is historically correct:.

the record of the early christians who were put to the test by roman authorities agrees with this and illustrates that we should not think that gods law can be broken in life or death situations.

sometimes their test was, either eat blood sausage or die in the arena.

Acts 15:29 & Revelation 2:14,20

i have heard the assertion that acts 15:29 saying: "keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols and from blood" was a decree set forth as a recommendation to keep christian gentiles from stumbing christian jews.

the same assertion says that 1 corinthians 8 makes it clear that it is a conscience matter to "keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols".

however, revelation 2:14,20 seems to show that eating things sacrificed to idols is much more serious of a grievance.. .
