i say this because its true, think about it takes years to get to know someone, maybe 10 years later you may say i really trust this person or persons,but all sudden those you thought you could trust do something to hurt you,betrayal,theft,backstabbing,assault,dishonesty,liar,deception,etc.even on here i dont really know any of you, all i do is just type and that suits me, you seem to be people of all walks of life some upset,confused,happy etc.but that doesnt mean what you say in your words reflects the "real you" .whether you belive in god or evolution etc it makes no difference we all have imperfect desires in us and give it the right moment and they may be unleashed,you may think im paranoid but "im not" i just dont have much trust for humans good or bad and i dont even trust myself sometimes.

Trust is a two way street, I have several friends and my two best friends I have had for nearly 20 years, We have alway had openess in our friendships. I could say the one friends is up and down as she has had many difficulties with her three grown children this makes her prone to mood swings and when this happens I keep my distance as she can say mean things, but I know she does,nt mean to its her way.When she feels better she is fine, but she needs her space to deal with her problems. Where as my other friend I will call her my kindred spirit, we should have been sisters, we have a beautiful friendship andI know I could trust her 100 percent with my very live and vice versa. In fact in all the years we have been friends never have we spoken an unkind word to one another, we speak our feelings and share our innermost thoughts and we laugh and cry together. We enjoy live together.
So please don't think you can't trust anyone anymore that is synical, and I know you have been hurt, but all in all people are not like that, we need one another to exist. Compainship is paramount to life as is water is to exist. Give it another go, you'll see what I mean. Trust me. It won't hurt a bit.

yesterday hubby and bigfloppyday and i spent the day up at lake huron at sauble beach.
i don't know if any of you have ever been there before or not , but it is a beautiful place, 14 km of sandy shore.
and the waves are so high at times its just the greatest beach of all, at least for me.
With a dear friend like you, bfd how on earth could I have forgotten about the pidgeon pooping on me and the bathing suit thing in the water. Girls you know what high waves can do to your top when the power of those waves bang down on you. And let me tell you mine were more out than in, haha Ah what a day.!! and Hubba Huuba Hunks on the Beach.
Yes Skully September can be warm at Sauble as well it depends on the warmth of the later part of August. You can expect cool nights, but nice days. How old are your kids.
May I suggest to anyone with children, this is one beautiful place to take the kids to , you should see some of the sand castles children make, its really amazing to watch them. Adults play volley ball, some fly kites and play baminton. Its all FUN FUN FUN.

ghastly visions of bloody mayhem and mutilation, not only of me, but also my husband and my little dog.
Dear Tammy, please except my huge *hug* that I am sending right now to you. You have endured much and still are. Sounds like you need some good friends and you will find many in here who really do care. I am saddened that you have these terrible nightmares. This is only a suggestion but have you considered taking to your doctor. Perhaps there is a mild sedetive that he/she could give to you so that you don't experience these terrible nightmares. Sometimes, even taking to your practioner is helpful. They have good listening ears.
Even posting here is helpful, just getting things off you chest as it were is heathly. I am glad you have a good cry too as this helps relieve stress and anxiety that is pent up inside our body and mind.
When I feel stressed out I lay down and listen to soft music and close my eyes and think of wonderful things. The beauty of live the birth of child the grandeur of the universe the silliness of little animals, the joy I have from my son, the love of my husband , the gift of my friends and the wonderful new friends I have met in here and the sounds of the waves rushing to the shore, the sounds of birds and the beauty of life. Any thing that gives me a smile brings me contentment and happiness and when I wake up each and every new day, I feel so happy to be alive and yes thank and I love God and Christ , and I know they guide throughout the day. For all this I can live life and say I am here for another day. May you find the peace you seek and the contentment you need.

Good point Sadie, yes I wonder too, who side are the other witnesses taking in these congregations now that the disfellowshippings have happened. Will some leave the organization after seeing the truth come out about the cover ups in the congregation. I wonder if we will ever know the statistics about this. Maybe Bill might know how many have actually left on account of what has happened.
