2008 Memorial...How will Brooklyn fix this MASSIVE blunder?

....brooklyn forgot that this year is a leap year in the hebrew calendar, and passover begins @ sundown on april 20th of 2008. now, will they fix this mistake, or come up with some crap excuse on why its not on nissan 14th this year?

No wonder the WTS is tumbling down a little more at a time. In this day and age no one is expected to put up with an abusive mate. It is against the law and that is Ceasar's law, so how does the WTS get off on telling people what they have to put up with.

Anyway they are no better they aren't submissive to Christ either. They have a lot to answer for.

There are many wonderful posters on JWD and it is difficult to choose the very best as in my opinion everyone deserves an JWD Oscar, However the real winner is the man behind the scenes and that of course is Simon the Man!!!

With out him there would be no JWD. So my vote is for Simon ....Three cheers for him...

Funny things is I know many JWs who secretly celebrate the holidays. Maybe they don't put up a chirstmas tree and lights but they exchange gifts, have families over and Turkey dinner. I know of several who buy their disfellowshipped adult children gifts for the holidays and gifts to their children. They even celebrate birthday's.

Now speaking for myself, I always secretly celebrated the holidays I had my family over and we had Christmas turkey and the trimmings and they all diluted themselves into believing I was doing this as it was the only time kids were out of school and stores were closed and families got together. I gave my son gifts oh maybe not christmas day but certainly the day before or after. I just bet you a dime to a dollar a lot of witnesses secretly do this.

I am sure that had they really looked at how I prepared my feast they probably knew I was teetering on celebrating Christmas. Its amazing how they can put on temporary blinders.

Yet they profess wholeheartedly they are Jehovah's Witnesses and do every thing moma tells them to do .

Go figure..

Orangefatcat affectionatley wants the same for all of you. It is nice to see you Craig and RB, Mouthy oh heck all of you, you just warm my heart so much I can't begin to tell you how much it means to me. God bless you one and all. Blondie I hope your health is better in the new year too,

Gee it has been quite a while since I have posted and been away from the board. I am still very much alive and maybe kicking but just abit.

Really though I wanted everyone of JWD to know that I will be thinking of you over the holiday season. Many of you have exchanged cards with me for several years. I must admitt though that this year especially the last several months I have been more ill than usual and had to be hospitalized over a week ago and I am still very tired and so I am not going to be getting out all the cards I generally do and so if you did get your card from me I truly am sorry and it is my hope that I will be able to do a better job next season. I have been very overjoyed with the cards I have recieved and you just have to know how much I love the Christmas Cards that I recieve every year. It is the highlight of my Christmas.

I wish all of you the best of this holiday season and hope that your new year brings about all your wishes. Please keep save as it can be a dangerous time on the roads with drinking and driving and I would hate to hear of anyone getting hurt. You all mean so much to me. I see there are many newbies I haven't even met and look forward to being on the forum in the new year.

I had a great suprise this evening a friend from JWD called me and we talked for a while and it was such a suprise and I thank you for your uplifting call you brightened a rather tough day.
