  in the may 16th, issue of the brooklyn heights press & cobble hill news columnist david weiss (cumb3aol.com) makes this comment.. "the number of publications that the jehovah's witnesses produce each year in their printing plants in the dumbo area is, believe it or not, more than 25 million.".

  funny, the society never mentioned the area they were really in but it sure seems appropriate!.

  I like the Watchtowers! Especially the 40 Roll packs. Do they still do that? They lasted longer than wood in my fireplace and sometimes I had enough to last the whole winter.

  well now we have it, what appears to be the pre-emptive strike from wt.. as of this friday three families who appeared on the dateline program have been informed judicial committees have been setup with a one week notice and it is alleged that they have been causing "divisions" within the organization.

  i got my letter today, barbara anderson got hers yesterday and the other family earlier this week.. if you were a pr firm would you think it to be a good idea or a bad idea to df everyone a couple of weeks before the dateline program airs?

  what do you think the american public will think of such a move?.

  Since I've been 'out', I've never had a JW call on my house. As a matter of fact, my neighbors thanked me, because since I moved into the neighborhood, even they have not been called on!

  If they did call, I would tell them I'm not interested, but if they have a little time themselves, I would like to introduce them to Amway! Ha.

  DO EVEN DIE HARD JWs REALLY THINK THE END IS NEAR

  after reading a couple of posts about the growing apathy among the r&f jws today i was reminded of the years following 1975 when the dropout rate was growing rapidly and the "faithful" die hards took it as a sign that the "end" was really really near since the winnowing process was removing so much chaff.

  keep in mind that this was over 25 years ago.

  it's been mentioned before but it is worth repeating that, no matter what is happening, religious fanatics(jws) always see it as a sign from god.
