JWs Best/Ugliest Traits?
by Room 215 inmy votes:.
the best: as a group they're relatively color-blind (low to no incidence of racism among them ).. the worst: their stubborn refusal to see the good in anyone but themselves!.
what say you?

Scrapheap Challenge/Junkyard Wars
by Stephanus inanyone seen either or both of these shows (uk and us versions respectively)?
two teams have 10 hours to build a working machine (hovercraft, dune buggy, rocket, etc) from bits and pieces found in a junkyard.. why do i get the feeling that the wbts is the result of a similar challenge on a religious level?
a team had 10 decades to build a religion from bits and pieces of scrap left over from other religions, or at least that's what it looks like!.

Hey Stephanus,Red Dwarf,I love that show man.Did you see the the one were they go to a world and everything is in reverse?They go to a pub and are given empty mugs.They raise their mugs to their mouths and fill them with beer.Then the bartender takes the full mugs puts them under the beer tap and the beer tap sucks the beer from the mugs.Or when cat go`s to the bush to take a dump!HA-HA-HA,did he ever have a surprised and disgusted look on his face!...later...OUTLAW

Jehoagies! thats funny TR.I remember going to a convention in NEW York(the big apple)with my parents,I was about 4yrs old at the time.WE had an awake taped to the back window,so every one could see who we were.As we were driving down the street a kid rode by us on his bike.My dads window was down and the kid yelled in the window"What did Joe the hobo witness?"..Childhood memories of a jw kid...OUTLAW

No Poppies For JW's?
by Englishman inhey, did you wear your poppy today?
* http://www.geocities.com/traditions_uk/poppyday.html.
bang on 11am, everything came to a stop, even the shoppers in tesco's stood silently and still for 2 minutes to recall the remembrance ritual of the armistice that occurred on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, 1918, and has since been a time when we remember all those who died under enemy fire.

An interesting dilemna
by mindfield inaaaarrgh... i finally got the guts to tell my mom yesterday i wouldn't be attending any more meetings.
of course, i had my reasons all laid out (going to the meetings would be hypocrite of my part, etc.
) but, surprisingly, she didn't ask for any reason.
