it's fake (too many allergies in the house to risk a real one), pre-lit, and 7 feet tall.

WONDERFUL!!!!!! You'll want to go overboard on decorating to make up for lost holidays. By next year you'll be quilting a tree skirt which will be the envy of all your neighbors (but it's a good envy when it's for holiday deco).

Nickey, Your post is echoing some of my own sentiments. But, I thought it was because I'm getting old and don't appreciate pranks. So your seriousness is not unfounded. I first went to Timothy Campbell's web site and found that searching topics on my own allowed me the solitude I needed. Not everyone wants that, so they come to forums like this one "to talk it out," and sometimes joking is their release after recognizing they've been duped for many many years.
A lot of the joking is done by young guys still in their 20s. It's very normal, so while I don't care for the pranks (well maybe I like some) I'm glad these guys are able to be real and not automotons. Hugs from Panda

i did once... they're help was more troubling than not.
I went to the elders to report the PO having jumped on my friend and tickling her and holding her down as she repeatedly told him to get off. They basically ignored me. They also refused to believe me (claimed the 2 witness rule) about a close friend (wife of the PO) who was an alcoholic. EVERYONE denied knowing this. Even her family who complained about her drinking. She was literally killing herself while her husband was screwing a pioneer sister. So she died. Do they feel any responsibility? Probably not.

Nick, Welcome to this forum. You must be questioning your beliefs on some level or else why post to this board? As so many others here I was once an ardent supporter of the publishing company WTBTS (Watchtower Bible and Tract Society). However, the lies about dates and the bigoted and misogynistic elder bodies sent me researching. I hope this is what you'll do, and maybe why you are posting here. There are many reasons to check WTS information. One place to start would be the 607BCE date which is inaccurate. Another interesting search would be about the blood issue. Have you ever watched a beloved friend die because of refusing blood in an emergency? I saw this happen. So, I'm glad you are here now, hope you stick around. Hugs, Panda

This is an interesting discussion. If you don't mind a bit of pedantism, esoteric means a subject beyond the understanding of the average "JOE". You might describe the Delphic Oracle as esoteric. Any secret or occult knowledge would be esoteric. The Mysteries of Mithra are esoterica.
Isn't there a group who believe that the physical Yeshua is changeable by each generation, yet remains the same spirit forever. I know it sounds like Tibetan Buddhism but it's an American group.
