The Bible is all about subjugating "other" folks. The Bronze age god of the Hebrews allowed the men to determine the sexuality of women. The Bible turned normal female functions into taboo. The Bible disallowed women the right to speak in communion w/ the men. The Bible considered childbirth dirty, and for birthing females twice as dirty.
Am I glad that I no longer worship the bronze age god of fire and penis envy --- you betcha.

i read today in an economic newspaper that one company named sangart from san diego have solvd the problem to do syntetich blood, the take out fraktions from red bloodsells, as i understand the part how is related to oxigen, the produkt will be on the market inn about 2 year, this must bee very good news fore jw all over the word, so hopfully this problem soon is behind us.. some one here who now more about this?

I was amazed at the dubs ... I'm not gonna talk ... ok I'll talk ... This is the last answer ... I won't answer anymore just go to the local KH ... I'm not gonna talk anymore...
The whole discussion reminded me yet again that a dub is a dub and no amount of information will help until they get rid of the assimilation gear.

i have.....got a set of gold-plated silverware for daughter and s-i-l (they already know, but don't know about individual gifts...heheheh)....jeans for my g/daughters and some karaoke cd's in the planning....don't know yet what i'll get for ol' crabby pants...(the ex that i'm watching over cause he's physically/mentally challenged from stroke)..... i like to get this shtuff outta the way early....can't stand that last minute hysteria...so..... how're yall doing with your plans for christmas?.

Once again these stories rear their ugly heads. Good grief. There is no reason why a loving god would allow some one... anyone to get raped or murdered. If you get an inkling of danger that's intuition.
One reason people like these stories is because they put themselves into the place of the "protected" not the victim. If you put yourself in the victim's shoes you'd no doubt wonder at your fickle god. It is dangerous to expect god to help when you put yourself into a dangerous situation.
In reality I'd say a young woman today would carry mace on her key chain, have learned to squeeze the rapists balls, poke his eyes out, or grab his adams apple in addition to have the sense NOT to walk down dark alleys.
