Man I feel ya, they have this ability to make life unbearable, don't they?
If you end up losing your marbles what good are you going to be to your daughter? Could you perhaps talk to your daugter about how you really feel about the liars, and get her to see where you're coming from, and then just stop going? You can always tell your wife and daughter that they are free to continue going if they choose, but for your own health and sanity you must stop. Good luck, and I hope you figure it out and soon!

Thirty five, I told my wife I couldn't stomach the BS I was forced to give, and receive from the platform any longer. A month later we both walked away, and quite cold turkey. Best decision ever.

In Death lies Glory
by BluePill2 ini was alone at the new branch construction site in ticuantepe (nicaragua).
everybody had taken off for a weekend assembly in the capital and it was my turn to have watchman duty and guard the site.
we had dogs and i only had to walk around the perimeters and check all the gates and entrances.. suddenly a young boy appeared at the main gate, breathless and visibly nervous.

Missfit - absolutely, and if those choices are wise, we in a way do end up living on, when we make the life we have now count. I think of the ones who came up with great ideas that changed the world for the better; the ones whos writings inspire us, and echo into the future; those who have a legacy of really helping people in a tough time, or even just the future generations that can remember us a person who lived a good life.

Bluepill, that was very well done, thanks for this.
The point you make about humans coming to expect something completely to the contrary of the natural order of the universe is a powerful one. For thousands of years Religion/Bible etc. has brought us no closer to understanding anything, while in recent years, science has afforded us true insight into what is real and what is fantasy. The contrast could hardly be clearer. It's time for people to accept and embrace reality, and stop burdening future generations with stupid biblical and religious fantasies.

Why do Christian nations think they can assimilate Muslims into their communities , does Islam attempt to assimilate Christians in their communities ?
by smiddy inislam /muslims today are what christianity was centuries ago , the two beleif systems are like oil and water , not to be mixed .
christians are not tolerated spreading their infectious disease amongst muslims, in islamic countrys , and harsh penalties apply for them doing so in muslim countries , including the death penalty.
stonings , whippings etc.. on the other hand christian nations are very tolerant of muslim extremists who incite hatred and violence on their own territory , and they get a slap on the wrist and say dont do it again .

@Villagegirl - your comment contradicts itself. If he was Muslim, don't you think he'd know how to spell Qu'ran?

I think the principal that they need to reap what they've sown, really applies here. Bailing the folks and old people in the congregation out robs them of the important lesson that their religion has failed them.
Jesus' advice at Matt 6:33 is among the most irresponsible advice ever given, and an indictment of Christianity in general.

Are you complicit if you stay in?
by mrhhome ini am going to throw down the gaunlet.
those who know the truth but stay in anyways are complicit in actions of the jehovah witness organization.
while i am sympathetic to the very difficult choices that they have to make, their unwillingness to confront the jw enables the organization.. some of you may remember my story.

When I learned the TTATT I could no longer stomach it, I stepped down from being an MS, and resolved to never go to another meeting. It was very difficult, and It's almost been two years to the day. In retropect It was one of the best decisions that I've ever made. I would say those that remain elders, and MS for a long time after knowing it's all BS are complicit and just as guilty as the governing body, and annointed for continuing to perpetuate damaging WT falsehoods and drivel -- ultimately ruining peoples lives. Grow a pair and step down!

Islams stated goal is to for the entire world population to be under the disgusting law of Sharia, they have already made great in-roads into France, U.k. and parts of the U.S. So yes is the answer to your question.
