What should I do?

i just got a call from a very sweet sister from the kingdom hall, telling me that i am her householder for her talk tomorrow night.

i have not been to a meeting since november.

i have managed to avoid elder's calls.

Wow! That's one way to force your hand. I don't know why I am surprised.
I understand the delima though. The easiest thing to do is not call her back. I only say that because to call her back will mean you will have to give her some excuse or tell her the truth. In essence, forcing your hand. I'm sure you don't want to lie to her.

Whats your earliest memory?

whats your earliest memory?.

i can remmember going to see my new-born sister in hospital when i was 2 years old.. funny thing is i remmember , remmembering that i remmembered things from the past as a 2 year old , but i carnt remmember the actual things themself.. i hope that makes sense.. i wonder if i can access earlier memories by some technique?

I can remember a christmas tree in our living room. My mother swears that is impossible because by the time I was one, my family had stopped celebrating Christmas. But I remember where it was in the living room and told her. She was amazed. I was right.
I can remember the entire layout of the house we left when I was 7 years old.
I can remember watching storms since I could walk to the back screen door. I have always loved storms.

This is funny. I love to read this stuff. You know, JW's think we are all Conspiratists. They figure we can find anything wrong with anything we set out to knock down. (My JW-sister says that I can find ANYTHING on the internet. Even bad stuff about the borg. All made up, of course. But SHE doesn't want to see it.)
And I guess they are right in a way. We don't swallow what they tell us anymore. We research it. That's all the Conspiracy Theorists do. Granted, some of it is so outlandish it is funny. But at least their not swallowing what the gov't is telling them. They are checking out the alternative possibilities. They know there is a possibility they are being lied to. Just like we were.

Depression

since leaving the organism i have had a problem with emotional situations.

i have bee labeled "bp", for those that don't know what bp is.....it is bi-polar.

what i am finding is that anyone that shows a behavior that is not in the norm....they are labeled bp.. we are given lithium and a meriad of other me's to correct this "condition".

I too have seen the negativity on this board. But this board is not all negative. There are many here who sincerly want to help anyone and everyone. They just have to fight their anger too.
I have dealt with Depression on multiple occasions in my life and I know how devistating it can be. No one has diagnosed me as being bi-polor though. I found therapy to be very benificial. Honestly I could probably use some now. I didn't know about the religion being a scam during my last bout of depression. Oh the things I could work out now.
Well, in closing, I would just like to say not to give up. You've come a long way, baby. You should be proud of yourself.

why won't my friends help me?.

i had one letter about 9 months ago while i was still going to the meetings warning me about apostate tendancies.. then a phone call from another friend just after christmas telling me he couldn't see be any more.. this has been the extent of my former friends encouragement to get me to see the errror of my ways and come back to the fold.. none of these people see me any more.. none of these people have made any effort what so ever to get me back!.

i'm thinking of phoning some up and asking them "why?".

I'm sure that 'idiot' did NOT mean faithful to Jehovah. It's funny how this religion hampers your reading comprehension abilities.

Like I said, I'm not as nice as you. I'm sure you will make the right decision for you. I really liked the idea about your wife writing a letter to your sister and letting her know that it is STUMBLING her. Great idea. Just hope that the point won't be missed. Many times they only see what they want to. But your sister seems very perceptive.
I wish you luck and please let us know what you decide to do and how it all turns out.
