  Going to the Memorial Tonight? Whose Partaking?

  i was curious if anyone on this website is going to the jw memorial tonight?.

  I am not going.
  Memorial, as all the other meetings, is just a play, pure simulation.
  Jesus is not there, just people looking one another, controlling
  attendance, order, how clean they are...stuff like this.
  What has JW memorial to do with the simple(but deep too)supper of
  Jesus and his disciples.
  All the Memorial worldwide of the JW are useless and empty rituals.
  Maybe Jesus are in the hearts of many people that attend the KH, but
  this is not because the ceremony, is more in spite of it.
  I prefer to pray with my wife and stay at home reading my Bible.

  I think it could happen all this and nothing of this at all.
  They are noticing things are getting worser and worser, specially in regard of Preaching Hours, Growth and Meeting attendance. They are suffering the unmasking of the tales and lies he had taught as facts.But…
  I believe they won’t give up so easy. They will fight against the facts in many ways:
  Closer Reclusion of the Brothers in the Organizations and themselfs.
  Return to the power of the contrast between godly and worldy people: we are so strictly that we must be the God’s People.Look how right and pure we are.
  And I think they will find something spectacular and amazing to feed the trust of the brothers in the
  Borg. JW have an expertise in the use of the power of exagerated and misguided expectations.
  It has made they become embarrased a lot of times, but, in the other side, they could use the efect of
  The expectation to switch on colours lights to call attention to them again.
  Recycled articles, boring talkings in meetings and conventions are not precisely the kind of things
  They need to grow again. I think the GB are looking this and are confused about the matter.
  They lack a new Frederick Franz to mix some bible verses, old biblical interpretations and
  Totally out of place aplications to make the picture of the Earth Paradise shiner.
  This picture Are becoming darker as time goes by.
  Of course, this tactic just could success inside the Walls of Hypocratia. But, I think that’s what
  They want. Power and prestige over the R&F brethren, whose loyalty is seen as a confirmation
  Of Jehovah’s Blessing. In fact, is just the drama all we suffered taking place again: brainwashing and
  Twisted moral sense presented as faith and love to god.
  Finally, I think the idea they are looking will not have connections with time and dates.
  They had learned to avoid it because showed they are false prophets.
  I think the idea or change will be the kind of Jehovah is reasonable, something alike that allows the
  GB to make articles and much bla bla bla about , just filling pages and meetings with nonsenses,
  But…make the brothers feel that’s a step ahead paradise, that’s new light and an evidence
  Of Jehovah’s blessing.
  We must keep tunned.

  This fact is: God always have people that served Him and people that
  Failed Him.And (this is the core of the matter)He always were warning
  His People to turn the way and make his way right.This was a continous
  Way. The beginning of the Christian Congregation didn’t change things.
  Read Corinthians: direct, hard advice. Not twisted language, just to
  The point.
  Do you realice that, in the Borg, never mention that fact?
  Magazines, books, conventions, meetings, all say the same thing: we are
  God’s People, we are learning, but we are in the way to paradise.
  Please, contrast this point of view with Jesus teachings. He taught simple
  Things, but he never said that all that joined him were right. He said:
  Look yourself, keep looking, keep trying. To say it simple, it’s up to you.
  JW don’t teach the same.
  When someone failed they act two possible ways: they hide the affair or
  They condemned people. They don’t assume that even in the God’s People allways
  Were several kinds of people. They just admit that there are active and weak,
  Spiritual or material people, pioneers or publishers. And they tend to identify
  Active with spiritual people, pioneers with spiritual, and so. The resul?: the
  Persons look to be included in some of this categories to be praiseful to others.
  Jesus, as His Father, didn’t identify people by his appearance. He didn’t care
  That. He just teach and help men to make sure themself that they are sincere.
  And He never said that just for belonging to the congregation you are this or
  That.
  I think the Borg avoid this matter just for one reason: if they admit that, the
  Loose control, the control to tell to others if they are wrong or right.
  They might feel weak in comparison with other religions, and the sense of
  How-Special-We-Are,-Aren’t-We could be vanished.
  Oh, no. We are the people that will rebuild the World from the ashes of the
  Armageddon. That don’t match with the idea of common people looking to copy
  Jesus example.
  Think about that.
  We sucked this lie. And I am keep counting....

  How much do members of the governing body make?

  just a simple question although i would also like to know if they have any sort of salary, or if there truly is evidence that they do make personal use of the voluntary contributions from the flock.

  please understand that i am skeptical and i would like anything that can be baked up.

  Maybe the GB members are there for power, yes, but I think that's
  not all the story. I remember Mexico Affair (disguising as a Cultural
  Association to access Property, even at the cost of not using BIbles,
  not singing in the meetings, and change the name of the congregations
  to companies), I remember the donation arrangement too, and I wonder?
  All this was for the money, wasn't it?
  This people is greedy, man. They like to have a big account in the
  Bank (for the glory of Jehovah, of course).
  Even when they haven't much money in their pockets, GB members are ruling a corporation.Money is the target and not for others benefit , just to increase wealth, for the glory of Jehovah, of course.
  How much of the cake they eat personally?I don't know, I haven't proofs.
  But they are very humans in all respects, we have checked it out.
  Why will they be different in this matter?
  By the way,in my country (Argentina) the way of living in Bethel is
  quite better than the R&F people (the big part, at least).
  They call it:Jehovah Blessing. I call it Misuse of the Money of the
  Brothers.Remember the Master.

  hi everybody.. i have read recently in several messages saying that the witness are immoral, or saying their morality is very relative.

  in one of these messages somebody wrote that he didnt know a witness with real morality, just an outer skin or resemblance of that.i agree totally with this point of view.. i have suffered the worst things from people that is very active in the preaching, talking,.

  And meeting comments. I want not to explain what kind of things are these, because
  Is very difficult to me to talk about without feel very sad and angry and hurted.
  I just want to think about.
  Well, I wonder why a religion that boasts of being true Christian , In which love is supposed to reign, produces such an effect in the people who became part of it.
  I put this matter on board because I realize that even people who were and still is
  Good people still in the Borg have adquired a twisted moral sense that is not easy to see in the Worldly people. For example, I can’t throw away of my mind a phrase of a brother, when asked by a person in the territory about .What will Jehovah do with child
  and mental disturbed capability people who are not belonging to Jehovah Witnesses when the end of this system of things finally happens?: Jehovah will destroy them, of course, Said the brother , almost proudly, and then offered the magazines that show what a wonderful god is Jehovah, don’t you think, Mr. X?
  I don’t blame this brother. Just look to the point of view in the volumes and books,
  Like the Reasoning book. My point is:What effect has the continous mention of Jehovah and Jesus as Vindicator, Avenger, Judge, etcetera in the meetings, conventions and specially the preaching?
  I see people becomes bloodthirsty, not lovely people, and, because they think they
  Are in the right side of the Universal Question Affair, they became vindicative,
  Revengeous, judgeful also.(To others of course, because they blind themselves
  To see just all is too good in the Spiritual Paradise).
  I have see people that started (when just baptized) good people, with feelings,
  To become pharisaic, selfish, intolerant and called all this theocratic or, (Oh , my god)
  To have Christ’s Mind.
  And, about the moral sense of they, I have seen they are cons,liars, very insensitive
  to others’s feelings, and called that theocratic or to be Kingdom focused.
  It’s really a shame and a pity.
  Haven’t you see some of that?When I remember all this, I feel the joy of to have
  Left all this Hypocratia (Theocratia: Not a chance!).

  Do You Think WTS Reacts to Internet Info?

  while i was an active jw, i remember so often that whenever we had a question that couldn't be answered, we would hear: "just wait a little bit and you can be sure it will be brought out in an article soon.

  " and sure enough, it happened just like that, time and time again.. my topic title question has been rolling around in my head ever since hearing the talks and the drama dialogue as i posted earlier on the topic "dc subtle propaganda".. the wts obviously knows many of its members are lurking here and other sites, and their lies are getting more exposure than ever before, and i feel as though the org is keeping tabs on these sites.

  many here have been telling their experiences and life stories revealing many skeletons from the wts closet, openly criticizing the attitudes and harsh actions of the org.. these are just a few of the phrases hammered at repeatedly as reminders at the dc this past weekend:.

  Yes, I know positively they react to the Internet.
  In my (ex)congregation there are two elders with access to the Web. They used to talk that they enter in the Web just to know these damned apostates are saying.And they share with the C.O. what they read.After he maked the same advice of "Don't do this again" the C.O. builded part(the main, in fact) of his speech in the Circuit COnvention on the issues the two elders found in the Net.
  I personally heared this C.O. said that the WTS are confronting others
  organizations that have the solely goal of to destroy them.He said:
  They are very, very organized! And are making great damage to many
  brothers.!
  Beyond the victim hype, they are afraid.
  Free conscience is not a good new for the Slavertower.

  I refuses to be just an Ex...

  i stopped my activities today and started to ask myself: what now?.

  could the life be this, to be an ex something, ex jw, ex preacher.?.

  i think the big part of people who left the wts has arrived there in firs time looking for something more.. the big questions to be answered.

  The big questions to be answered. But the Truth became the Big Lie.
  What a shot. In spite of this, what now?
  I notice many of us took different ways. There are people that still is looking to find God in the Scriptures. Others seems to have turned a bit cynical. Anyway, I feel that we can’t be satisfied
  With the idea of to be an”ex”. We must to keep struggling for the answers we looked sometime ago.
  I find this board a great help to keep thinking. But I abhorr the idea of to be satisfied with
  Just talking. I think there are a fight that we have still to keep fighting.
  I wonder how people in the Borg are so selfsatisfied. This the reason they are not seeing what the
  Have before them, isn’t it?
  I just want to share this feelings.
  I see people in this board that still is looking.
  Well, keep looking. Jesus said something kinda, didn’t he?
  While there are a looking, there are hope.
  We proudly have to say: I am not an Ex, I am a christian.
  If we are now walking in another path, the one thing to care about is the goal.
  Remember.the JWs are not the owner of the Hope, the Bible and, of course, God Himself. Even they think they are, and so told us.
  Keep walking. That is all.We run with an advantage. We know there a path that drives to mind slavery.
  But there are many more roads. Keep looking.

  2/3 of the Auditorium didn't open the Watchtower.

  hi everybody.. sometime i had read(many years ago) in kingdom ministry an article that said thatas much as two third of the auditorium didn't uses to studie the watchtower when gone to the watchtower study meeting.. do anyone remember this mention?

  perhaps someone realizing something is wrong in the spiritual paradise?.

  if not, what reveals this?i believed some guys were very angry in.

  Sometime I had read(many years ago) in Kingdom Ministry an article that said thatas much as two third of the auditorium didn't uses to studie the Watchtower when gone to the Watchtower Study Meeting.
  Do anyone remember this mention? What was this? Perhaps someone realizing something is wrong in the Spiritual Paradise?
  If not, what reveals this?I believed some guys were very angry in
  Brooklyn to have to write that.
  When I read this I was very surprised for such confession.
  Do you know if they have admitted something like this lately, maybe
  in the conventions?Or C.O. meeting with the elders.

  It's nice to meet too.
  Well, I am able to explain how I left the JWOrganization.It was just
  a matter of keeping eyes wide open.I used to see many things that just
  don't work biblical way. I saw circuit and district overseer favouring
  brothers because they preferre their homes to stay during the visit
  (wealthy brothers, I means) rather than poor brothers that barely had
  a roof over their heads.
  I saw people that had spiritual hunger along with doubts kicked off
  the organization because they were "bad influence" to others.
  I saw many "active" brothers who showed they loved nobody, perhaps
  themself.This persons used to be "pillars" on the congregation.
  I saw the elders considered unworthly the few preachinghours many brothers and sisters informed, seting side to side pioneers and
  "common" sisters and brothers, punishing them and steeling his dignity.
  BUt, that's not all. Someday, I read in the internet a excerpt of
  the BOok "Crisis of Conscience" by Ray Franz. ¡It was .... a hit on
  my head! Do you think I liked what I read? You are wrong if you think
  that. I feel hurted,raped...Who is this man to say these things?
  BUt...he was right. I found he said nothing without biblical basis.
  Beyond this, I start to see why I felt so bad last years in the "truth". He showed me the reason. And the reason was that the
  BOrg has many things, but God's Spirit.
  I realize this organization was (is) just an experiment, a moral experiment to check how deep could a bunch of men handle the conscience of others. I thought (and I think now the same way)
  the Borg had its precedent in the Pharisees,who enjoy to present
  themself as Moral Champions. And we all know what Jesus said about
  them.
  I start to share my feelings(and the knowledge that Internet provided
  me ) with other people who were hurted in many ways.Everybody said me
  that they were finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel.
  I left the meetings, (my wife too) and later the elders call me for
  a meeting. They asked me:We hear you are saying the Truth is not the
  Truth. I answered: The truth is the BIble. That's what we teach,isn't
  it?
  They asked:Do you think the Society is the solely channel of GOd will
  in the Earth?
  I answered: You are tryng to kicked me off. I know that. I won't
  answered your questions, I am going to become inactive, leave me alone.
  And they said:Will you keep saying others the things you had see in
  the Internet? My answer: I will.
  And then, the three elders start to have a kind of discussion before
  me about what to do with me. FInally, they decided to ask me not talk
  with brothers about theses things and to send a letter to the Society
  to remove me as an elder. BUt I am still a brother.Do you know why?
  Are you wondering why they didn't disfellowshipped me?
  The reason is: a man who used to be and still is a ministerial servant
  asked me a loan of 10.000 dollars(all life savings). And I lend him
  this amount of money. He used the money to move to USA, and left me
  and my wife with no money and many debts.This man is a killer, he
  almost kill me and my wife. And, do you know what?, he is still a
  very active publisher in the State, and a ministerial servant too.
  (Give me a break!)
  This whole thing was well known in the congregation at this time.
  Because this, I think, they decided wasn't not the "right" time to
  disfellowship me. But I know it's just a matter of time.
  Anyway, the most important thing is to keep our hope.
  I think God is real, the BIble is true.I think someday the Witnesses
  will be just a caption in the dictionaries. They are becoming more
  and more selflovers, they like to receive glory and praises one each
  other. They are moderns pharisees.
  And God is looking.

  are seeking GOd.
  I believe, because our Lord Jesus Christ said so, we are knowed by the
  Jehovah the Father.
