I would like to draw a parallel between Karl Marx himself, and us, as XJW's in one respect.
Marx' idea was that it was an inevitable thing that the Working folk would "wake up" to the fact that their labour was a Commodity to be sold on the open market like any other, and that they would revolt, at least to the extent of making sure that, instead of getting $6.00 for every $100 they produced for their Employer, they got much more. He hoped eventually the the means of production would end up being owned by those very workers.
We as XJW's, at least when we first leave, feel that it is inevitable that the JW's wake up. And then there would be a major exodus.
The parallel in my mind is this, Marx' main fault was that he did not give any idea of how to achieve his Workers Utopia, apart from the vague idea of some sort of Revolution, but how to achieve that ? how do you get the workers to wake up and take united action ?
It is the same for the XJW, how do we get the majority of JW's to wake up, and leave ?
Maybe in both cases something IS happening, Key Workers have had it brought home to them that they are worth more than Minimum Wage, and many JW's are waking up, and slowly leaving.
But in both cases, I fear it will be a very slow process, and may never really be achieved. Utopia for workers, and freedom for JW's seem a long way off.
